Fall is just over a month away, and while the summer heat is fading, Netflix is already turning up the cozy vibes for the season ahead. The streamer’s fall 2025 lineup is stacked with shows that are practically begging to be binge-watched, and honestly, I don’t know how I’m going to find the time.

A few fan-favorites are still in production, though. We’re waiting on “Bridgerton” season 4, the next chapter of “3 Body Problem,” and the highly anticipated “Beef” season 2, which brings in a fresh cast. Despite the wait, the new (and returning) shows look more than enough to keep me hooked.

From a new psychological thriller starring Toni Collette, to the long-awaited thrills of “Stranger Things” season 5, and the heartwarming romance series returning for season 2 with Adam Brody and Kristen Bell, these are the Netflix shows I’m most excited to dive into this fall.

‘Alice in Borderland’ season 3

Netflix has a knack for delivering some pretty gripping survival thrillers, and “Alice in Borderland” is a solid example.

The Japanese sci-fi series has kept viewers guessing after every season, and while it’s sometimes been a bit overlooked compared to the global phenomenon of “Squid Game,” season 3 looks like it could bring even more suspense and high-stakes twists.

Picking up after the intense events of season 2, Arisu (Kento Yamazaki) and Usagi (Tao Tsuchiya) are now leading a peaceful life, but the haunting memories of the Borderland linger.

Their tranquility is shattered when Usagi mysteriously disappears, drawing Arisu back into the deadly games. This time, the risks are greater as the elusive Joker card takes center stage.

‘Wayward’

It’s becoming rare to see a trailer that actually leaves you wanting more without spoiling everything, but Netflix’s latest teaser for “Wayward” manages it perfectly. It gives just enough hints to spark curiosity, all while keeping the biggest twists under wraps.

The first trailer does a great job of setting the tone. We get a glimpse of Tall Pines, a seemingly charming town with picture-perfect streets, but lurking beneath that charm is something far darker.

“Wayward” follows a newly relocated police officer (Mae Martin), and their pregnant wife, Laura (Sarah Gadon), as they settle into their new life. Their tranquility is disrupted when Alex becomes involved with two teenagers, Abbie (Sydney Topliffe) and Leila (Alyvia Alyn Lind), from a local academy for troubled teens.

As Alex investigates a series of unusual incidents, they begin to suspect that the academy's enigmatic leader, Evelyn (Toni Collette), may be at the center of the town's dark secrets.

‘The Resurrected’

A few months back, I noticed “The Resurrected” tucked into Netflix’s “coming soon” section, teasing viewers with only a cryptic cover and a handful of vague details. Even with so little to go on, it immediately grabbed my attention.

The series is a Taiwanese revenge thriller that centers on two mothers who go to extraordinary lengths to rescue their kidnapped daughters — they literally bring the dead ringleader of a telecom fraud ring back to life in order to get their revenge. It’s a concept I’ve never encountered before.

“The Resurrected” stars Shu Qi and Sinje Lee as two grieving mothers who, in a desperate bid for justice, resurrect a deceased murderer.

With the aid of a mysterious goddess, they bring him back to life for seven days to exact their revenge. However, as they inflict relentless pain upon him, their fury remains unquenched.

‘Nobody Wants This’ season 2

Netflix announced that “Nobody Wants This” would return for a second season just a couple of weeks after the first season debuted.

Erin Foster’s so-called “near-perfect” romantic comedy turned out to be anything but underrated, quickly climbing to the top of Netflix’s charts and staying in the platform’s top 10 for weeks. And it deserved to be there, because this series is a genuinely fun, heartwarming watch, and it’s coming back for more.

Season 1 ended on a tense cliffhanger: Joanne (Kristen Bell) left Noah (Adam Brody) over his devotion to faith, refusing to convert, only for Noah to declare he would choose her instead.

In season 2, that choice will probably bring big changes. Noah may have to step down as head rabbi, his spiritual path and personal life will shift, and family dynamics will be tested. On top of that, figures from his past, ex-girlfriend Rebecca (Emily Arlook), are likely to complicate his relationship with Joanne.

‘Stranger Things’ season 5 – volume 1

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of “Stranger Things” with season 5. It’s been three years since we last visited Hawkins, but the hit sci-fi/horror series is finally set to return to Netflix in just a few months.

Early teasers and reports suggest that the Duffer Brothers’ final chapter will build toward an intense showdown, with Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and the gang facing off against the menacing Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower).

Season 5, set in the fall of 1987, marks the final chapter of the series. Following the catastrophic events of season 4, Hawkins is left scarred by the opening of the Rifts. The central goal for our heroes is clear: find and eliminate Vecna, who has mysteriously vanished, leaving his plans and whereabouts unknown.

Complicating matters, the government has imposed a military quarantine on the town and intensified its pursuit of Eleven, forcing her into hiding once more.
