Beyond the DeLorean: how many iconic 80s movie gadgets and cars do you remember?

According to 1980s cinema, we should definitely all be driving flying cars by now. Aside from the crushing disappointment that the present day has failed to live up to Hollywood's glittering imaginings, I do love that some of the decade's biggest movies featured cars cruising through the skies. So much less traffic!

And it wasn't just flying cars. All manner of gadgetry and gizmos took center stage in some of the 80s biggest movies. In some cases, the tech and cars were arguably as iconic as the characters, lines and music (though boy do I love the music). So in the name of tech, I've made this brand new new picture quiz where you can match the gadget to the movie hero. Enjoy!
