Sure, there are some days when we want to tune into a high-intensity thriller like "Paradise," a pulse-pounding crime drama like "Memory of a Killer" or a tension-filled romance like "Tell Me Lies." But for those times when we want something a little more comforting, soothing and undeniably feel-good, Hulu also has our back with cozy comedies that put a smile on our faces and keep our minds at ease.

One of the top streaming services around, Hulu is home to some of the best easy-to-watch and easier-to-love comedy series around, including old favorites like the hospital sitcom "Scrubs" — which the streamer excitingly just rebooted with its OG cast members — as well as newer genre entries like the acclaimed "Reservation Dogs." Each of the shows we're recommending below has that signature mix of humor, heart and, yes, hijinks, that we're after when it comes to a cozy binge.

'Scrubs'

The original "Scrubs" ran for nine seasons and 182 episodes from October 2001 to March 2010 on NBC and later ABC, chronicling the medical shenanigans of John "J.D." Dorian (Zach Braff), Chris Turk (Donald Faison), Elliot Reid (Sarah Chalke) and the rest of the lovably over-the-top Sacred Heart staff.

Over that near-decade, fans fell for, of course, those daffy antics and nonsensical fantasy sequences but also the show's emotional depth, most often tied to the characters' interpersonal relationships and the harsh realities of medicine.

It's not too much of a surprise, then, that "Scrubs" is back all these years later, with a long-anticipated tenth season acting as a bonafide reboot with Braff, Faison, Chalke and more all back to reprise their characters. (And we're happy to report that the revival is exactly what we wanted it to be.)

'Reservation Dogs'

Watching coming-of-age charmer "Reservation Dogs" feels just like hanging out with your old childhood pals — the half-hour comedy follows four Indigenous teenagers (played by Devery Jacobs, D'Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Lane Factor and Paulina Alexis) as they navigate growing pains and grief in rural Oklahoma, all the while plotting their desired escape from small-town Muscogee Nation for sunny, faraway California.

Created by Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi, the three-season series does tackle tough, real-world issues over its 28 episodes, from cultural identity to intergenerational trauma to poverty, but it manages to do so hilariously and heartwarmingly, with community at its core and plenty of comic relief throughout.

If you want a little romance alongside your comedy, "The Mindy Project" has got it in spades — led by creator-star Mindy Kaling, the six-season rom-com series centers on the successful but romantically frustrated obstetrician Mindy Lahiri as she juggles both her high-stakes medical career and her dogged pursuit of the perfect boyfriend.

While following along with Mindy's personal and professional journeys, we also get to know the quirky personalities who work alongside her in her New York City medical office, including Danny Castellano (Chris Messina), Jeremy Reed (Ed Weeks), Betsy Putch (Zoe Jarman) and Morgan Fairchild Ransom Tookers (Ike Barinholtz), among others.

The comedy was widely acclaimed for its sharp wit and swoon-worthy charms over its run, with its final season earning a stellar 92% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and critics praising: "'The Mindy Project's' sixth season takes us on another fun, messy, and ultimately optimistic journey as Mindy searches for her idea of happiness."
