Hulu is rolling out one of the most exciting Black Friday streaming deals of the year. For a limited time, you can add HBO Max to your Hulu subscription for just $2.99 per month, a huge drop from its usual $9.99 monthly price. After the promotional period ends, the add-on will return to its standard rate.
This Black Friday offer is open to Hulu standalone subscribers (with ads), Hulu Live TV users, and those on Hulu’s trio bundle, but duo bundle members aren’t eligible. If you qualify, you’ll unlock HBO Max’s massive library of originals like the new “IT: Welcome to Derry” and “The Pitt” along with newer theatrical releases like “The Conjuring: Last Rites.”
If you’ve been considering diving into HBO Max or want to expand your Hulu lineup for a fraction of the usual cost, this is easily one of the best streaming deals available right now.
Hulu is serving up a fantastic Black Friday offer on the HBO Max add-on subscription, giving new and returning subscribers the chance to stream great shows and movies for far less. With this limited-time deal, you can dive into hits like "IT: Welcome to Derry," "The Last of Us," "House of the Dragon" and award-winning movies at a major discount.
Hulu is rolling out another incredible Black Friday offer: you can get the Starz add-on subscription for just $2.99/month, which isan amazing value. Starz is a pretty underrated service, and I'd highly recommend checking it out if you enjoy juicy dramas like "Outlander" or thrillers that are highly bingeable.
To add HBO Max to your Hulu subscription, log in to your Hulu account and go to “Account” then “Manage Add‑Ons.” Select the HBO Max option (with ads) and confirm your changes. Hulu will bill you for both your current Hulu subscription and the add-on.
To access HBO Max content, download the HBO Max app, choose “Sign in with a provider,” select Hulu, and log in with your Hulu credentials. Once set up, you can stream select HBO shows directly in Hulu or access the full HBO Max library through the app.
Keep in mind, this HBO Max add-on subscription deal is only available until December 1 at 11:59 PM PST / 2:59 AM ET. After 12 months, your HBO Max add-on subscription will automatically return to the regular price of $9.99/month, so it’s best to grab this limited-time offer while it lasts.
With streaming prices climbing in 2025 (HBO Max recently raised its rates), Black Friday is the ideal moment to snag a deal. Adding HBO Max through Hulu’s discounted add-on gives you access to premium shows and movies without paying full price, letting you enjoy the latest hits while keeping your streaming budget under control.

She heads to the cinema every week as a tradition, no matter what’s showing. For her, movies aren’t just entertainment — they’re a ritual, a comfort, and a constant source of inspiration. When she’s not at her desk or at the cinema, you’ll probably find her deep into a horror video game on her PC.
