Ring-a-ding-ding! What's that sound you hear? Why, only the bell that rings when it's the last day of October Prime Day sales. All of yesterday and today, we've seen some killer discounts on photography gear, such as action cameras and drones. As someone who tests drones for a living and loves flying them in her spare time, I wanted to highlight the finest drone deal today — and it's on our top pick for the best budget drone.

That's right: the DJI Neo is currently 20% off at Amazon right now. It's down to just $159 — its lowest ever price — which makes it a better deal than the one we saw last Black Friday. Today is your last chance to save big on the little drone that could, and there's no guarantee this deal will resurface come Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

The DJI Neo costs very little to begin with, and I recommend it even at its full price, so this deal is too good to pass up. In my DJI Neo review, I praised this drone for its lightweight, compact and minimalistic design. It can shoot 4K footage at 30fps, take detailed stills, and remain stable in tricky conditions. Easy to control with the RC-N3 controller or the DJI Fly app on a smartphone, the Neo makes drone photography more accessible thanks to its low price point.

If you want an easy-to-use drone that doesn't require any registration, and can be flown indoors or around children, then I can't recommend the Neo enough. The Neo is one of the safest drones to fly, thanks to its propeller guards. This also means that you can grab it mid-air, and the Neo features palm takeoff and landing, so all you need to do is place your hand under it and it will land. Super convenient and safe!

I have been flying the Neo for nearly a year now, and it has never once let me down. It's the cheapest way to get a 4K/30fps drone that also captures 12MP stills. It comes with 22GB of internal storage, and footage can be easily offloaded to your smartphone with the DJI Fly app.

What's great about the Neo is that it's fantastic for creating short-form content, thanks to QuickShot modes such as Follow, Rocket, Circle, etc. You don't even need a controller or your smartphone for this. Simply press the button on top to cycle through and toggle one of these modes. The drone will then record you/your subject and return to its last-known takeoff position when it's done recording.

Flying the best drones can be really addicting — trust me, even since I flew my first drone, I haven't been able to stop. It can help unleash your creativity and capture amazing sights from a bird's point of view. Drones don't have to break the bank either, as has been proven by the Neo.

Right now, it's at its lowest ever price, as you can get the Neo for 20% off at Amazon. It's really a no-brainer if you want a quadcopter that's easy to fly with or without a smartphone, makes content creation easy, and lets you have fun with your friends, family or solo!
