There are very few tech products that last a lifetime, but ask anyone who bought a pair of Sennheiser headphones since as far back as the 90s and there's a high chance they still work.
I absolutely love my Sennheiser HD490 Pro wired headphones, so much so that when I read Heis Online's report stating "The company intends to focus on its core business and no longer offer consumer products. It also wants to divest Sennheiser's headphone division," I audibly gasped.
Luckily, it just so happens that Amazon's Big Spring Sale offers relatively high discounts on some of the best Sennheiser wired and wireless headphones, and so you can grab a deal on one of the world's best headphone brands' products before the company changes forever.
I've selected a wide-variety of Sennheiser headphones thanks to Tom's Guide's audio experts, and I've included my trusty HD490 Pros too, even if they aren't on sale at the moment.
Honestly, if you've been contemplating buying a pair of Sennheisers for a while, now's the best chance to do so, because we've got no idea what the future holds for this beloved audio company.
What our experts think about Sennheiser products

I'm Pete, Senior Editor at Tom's Guide and in charge of our in-house reviews. We test and review lots of Sennheiser gear here at TG.
"From budget wired headphones through to flagship over-ears and wireless earbuds, Sennheiser rarely fails to impress. You can always rely on solid (and typically German) build quality, excellent audio fidelity, and Sennheiser's trademark 'clean' acoustic profile.
The manufacturer's high-end gear is leaned on heavily by professionals (for good reason), and it would be easy for a brand to lean on that reputation to shift lower-quality budget gear — not so with Sennheiser, whose budget audio products often punch way above their price tag. If I could sum Sennheiser up in a few words, it'd be as follows: a safe pair of hands."
