This early Black Friday deal discounts the Pixel Buds 2 Pro by 41% off — and it's way better than the AirPods Pro 3

Everyone in the office knows I swear by the Google Pixel Buds 2 Pro, even though I also have the AirPods Pro 3 lying around. I’ve been using Google’s wireless earbuds for more than a year now, and despite newer earbuds coming out, it's still the one I continue to use. Better yet, it’s down to its all-time lowest price with Amazon's early Black Friday deal.

Normally, it costs $229, but there's a 41% off discount that brings the cost of the Pixel Buds 2 Pro down to $133. That's a whopping $95 savings, and the total is more than half the cost of just buying the AirPods Pro 3. In fact, you could still buy two of them for less than the cost of one of Apple's earbuds.

Google's Pixel Buds Pro 2 have everything you'd want in a pair of wireless earbuds. From its compact and discrete design that stays hidden in your ear, to its outstanding noise cancellation, and a charging case with support for Android's Find My service, you can't go wrong with them.

Now, this discount applies to only the Moonstone color of the Pixel Buds 2 Pro — while the other three colors fetch for $168. Whichever color you end up getting, they’re still cheaper than buying a refurbished or like-new version of it on Amazon.

So why do I prefer the Pixel Buds 2 Pro over the AirPods Pro 3? Honestly, it comes down purely to the aesthetics and design. Since it doesn’t have a boom mic or an arm extension that sticks out like many other earbuds do, including the AirPods, it looks less conspicuous when I wear them. And they don’t fall off either, despite not having ear hooks for added support, seeing that it features an ingenious design where I can twist them in my ear to secure a more snug fit.

Another thing I’ve come to appreciate is the outstanding noise cancellation it offers to mute the ambient sounds around me. I’ve mentioned previously how I started wearing them to concerts and shows, mainly to protect my hearing from the high-pitched noise around me. It’s also saved me several times riding on the subway in New York City whenever the wheels screech along the rails.

Finally, there’s a transparency mode that allows me to listen to music — while still letting in a little bit of the environment around me. That way, I can still hear someone speaking to me while I’m working. These are all the reasons why I’ve kept using the Pixel Buds 2 Pro for the past year and continue to be one of the best wireless earbuds around. Now that it’s down to its all-time lowest price on Amazon, you can’t go wrong getting them.
