Sony's excellent WF-1000XM5 have been the envy of the earbuds world for a while. After all, they pack in great sound and active noise cancellation (ANC) with a comfortable fit and long-lasting battery life. We've long regarded them as some of the best wireless earbuds that you can buy as a result.
At the moment, you can buy the Sony WF-1000XM5 for $228 at Amazon. That's thanks to a massive $100 price drop, bringing them closer to their lowest ever price.
The WF-1000XM5 have been some of our favorite earbuds for a long time now. Great ANC, a comfortable fit, and some excellent sound mean they're easily some of the top earbuds. With eight hours of battery life, they'll last your whole work day. This isn't quite their lowest price ever, but $100 off is still a massive saving.
Despite their age, the WF-1000XM5 are still some of the best earbuds that you can buy in 2025. They're very comfortable, thanks not only to their size and shape but also to the wide array of ear tip options that come in the box. There's a size for everyone, and they come in both silicone and foam forms.
With eight hours of listening time with ANC turned on. If you run out, you can put them in their charging case for an extra 24 hours of battery. That's very good battery life, and makes sure that they'll last you your full work day — or a lengthy transcontinental flight.
The ANC performance is solid, getting close to the current class leaders, the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds Gen 2. Sound is detailed and warm, making your music sound excellent. They're some of the greatest all-round buds that we've ever seen.
This deal drops the price by $100 for a great deal this Prime Day. We have seen them lower, but I'm not sure that price is going to rear its head again anytime soon. Looks like now is the time to pick up some reduced flagship buds.
