Good news for students, as they can now lock in a full year of Gemini AI Pro for free through a new student trial. This makes Google’s most advanced AI tools far more affordable for anyone who qualifies in higher education.
The offer combines premium Gemini access with 2 TB of cloud storage and other Google One-style perks, but you need to verify your student status and add a payment method before the 12‑month trial kicks in.
With the trial, students gain unlimited chats, image uploads, quiz generation, and access to Gemini's 2.5 Pro model, Deep Research, and Audio Overviews.
What is Gemini AI Pro?
Google AI Pro is a paid membership that unlocks expanded access to Google's AI features, including Gemini, across Google services.
As part of the plan, members also get 2 TB of extra cloud storage plus additional benefits designed to streamline everyday Google use, from productivity to collaboration.
Students specifically gain access to the recently-launched Gemini 3 Pro for multimodal understanding, pro-level image generation with Nano Banana Pro, personalized exam prep tools, and Gemini Live for real-time brainstorming and presentation rehearsal.
