6. Routing Performance
Testing Notes:
• All tests are all run with LAN endpoint in DMZ
Routing throughput tests didn't reveal any surprises, with 28Mbps throughput in both directions. This is a best-case 40% improvement over the WBR-G54's routing speed (plot of WBR-G54's throughput tests). But some of this may be due to my use of WinXP on both of my test clients.
I also ran 10 second Chariot tests in both directions (Figure 7) which showed pretty consistent speed.
