Mimoco Unveils New Micro USB Card Readers, Drives at CES

- By - Source : Mimoco

The creator of the Mimobot flash drive is back with the brand new Star Wars and DC Universe themed MimoMicro.

Whether you're a fan of Star Wars, DC Comics, Hello Kitty, or Transformers, you've probably seen one of Mimoco's popular Mimobot USB drives modeled after a variety of characters from these worlds. Back when USB drives were painfully expensive, the Yoda Mimobot was our favorite, but with USB drives getting smaller and smaller, mini Yoda just didn't seem so mini anymore.

MimoMicro USB Drive

Luckily for all of us, Mimoco has refreshed its product line with the brand new MimoMicro unveiled here at CES 2012. In addition to being the coolest USB drive you'll ever own, the MimoMicro also doubles up as a microSD card reader to make transporting data between your devices even easier. Unlike its Mimobot predecessor, each MimoMicro features an awesomely miniature form with 3D sculpted characters and vehicles. To make things even easier and more portable, Mimoco got rid of the cap and implemented a flip-out USB plug, complete with built in keychain and LED indicator light. Although the MimoMicro only comes in Star Wars and DC Comics themed characters and vehicles, more designs are surely on the way. No word on pricing yet, but you'll be able to purchase your MimoMicro from select retail stores and online at Mimoco.com sometime in March.
