Loch Ness Monster/Boat Spotted on Google Earth
Is it Nessie or just a boat?
Every now and again someone will spot something on Google Earth or Street View and say it's Atlantis, ET or something else highly unlikely. The Sun this week reports that a security guard by the name of Jason Cooke spotted what he says could be the Loch Ness monster, the creature said to inhabit Loch Ness in Scotland.
Looking at the pictures, there doesn’t appear to be much there at all. However 25-year-old Cooke of Nottingham insists, "It's just like the descriptions of Nessie," adding that he "couldn't believe it," when he saw it.

Looks like a white boat. I wouldn't discount some bored programmer putting something like that in one day as a joke or something though

It's just a boat. While it's possible some remnants of past eras still exist deep in the oceans depths (honestly we know so little of the ocean) the loch is too small to support any such beast.

but didnt you know nessie is like a turtle? and it eveolved the shell on its back to look like a boat to keep with the times and have awesome camoflauge....
OK, I don't know about you guys, but I actually been in a boat before, and that does not look like a boat's wake at all. I mean, boat wakes arent' so perfectly defined. It almost looks like someone painted them there.
That said, I don't think it's a creature either. It looks very unnatural, again, like someone put them there. Who knows what in the world it is.

In google earth it looks just like a boat that measures about 38' without the wake. And the wake looks like a wake if I've ever seen one.
I'm surprised anyone could mistake that for the Loch Ness Monster. It's pretty clearly just a hunter metroid.
