Simone Biles is back! She's is returning in the gymnastics beam final live stream at the Tokyo Olympics. Team USA teammate all-around champion Sunisa Lee will also compete in the beam final.
Last week, Biles withdrew from the team final to focus on her mental health. She also did not participate in the all-around or event finals for vault, uneven bars, and floor exercise.
Yesterday, Team USA Gymnastics announced that Biles will be competing in the last individual medal event for gymnastics.
"We are so excited to confirm that you will see two U.S. athletes in the balance beam final tomorrow - Suni Lee AND Simone Biles!! Can't wait to watch you both," they tweeted.
The top eight gymnasts from the qualifying round move on to finals, though only two athletes per country may compete in the event.
