The gap between Prime Big Deal Days and Black Friday might be relatively light on TV discounts, but every now and then a deal drops that’s worthy of a spotlight. Today, the 65-inch Samsung S90F OLED is $1,699 at Best Buy — a full $800 off its original price.

The S90F is one of the most value-packed OLED TVs of the year, as it packs a bunch of the features found in flagship TVs into a mid-range price point. Here’s everything else you need to know about it.

Samsung's newest mid-range OLED fetches you many of the features you'll find on fancy flagships, but for far less of the cost. In addition to excellent HDR brightness and plenty of gaming features, the 65-inch version comes with quantum dot-color — an enhancement that's typically found in higher-end OLED TVs.

My favorite feature on the S90F is its inclusion of quantum dots. These color-boosting, microscopic particles are typically found on some of the best OLED TVs you can buy (including Samsung’s flagship S95F OLED). Not every size in the S90F series features quantum dots, but the 65-inch version does.

As a quantum dot-enhanced OLED TV, the 65-inch S90F delivers better color volume than what you’ll find on competing mid-range OLEDs, including the LG C5.

The S90F pairs its sensational, well-saturated hues with scintillating highlights. Thanks to the surgical, pixel-level contrast control of OLED, these bright highlights create a sense of depth that most TVs can’t quite replicate.

It goes toe to toe with the LG C5 when it comes to gaming support, too. The S90F is flush with four HDMI 2.1-compatible inputs, all of which support 4K gaming up to 144Hz, ALLM and VRR.

As we get closer to the holiday shopping season, the S90F’s price will undoubtedly continue to fluctuate. Jump on this deal today to guarantee yourself $800 off one of the best mid-range OLEDs of the year.
