As a TV expert, I found my top 10 deals for World Cup 2026 watch parties — and they start at just $349
Shake up your living room in time for the biggest tournament on earth
We're weeks away from the first whistle blow of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and one thing is for certain: Scores of footy fans are scrambling to swap out their old TV ahead of the tournament. In the last two weeks, I've helped three separate people secure a new screen for the express purpose of holding World Cup watch parties. Even the owner of my favorite pub picked my brain about which TV would be best suited for their outdoor patio.
Fortunately, FIFA fever couldn't be happening at a better time for TV-shopping. Right now, brands are rolling out their latest lineups, which means in many cases, last-year's TVs have never been cheaper.
Not every TV is worth buying, which is why I've narrowed it down to my ten favorite picks. There are QLEDs, Mini-LED TVs and even some OLEDs in the mix, but by and large, these are the discounted sets I recommend specifically for sports.

My favorite TV deals
This is one of the only ultra-affordable TVs that I'd recommend, and right now, the 50-inch version is on sale for $349. The QM5K arrives with built-in Google TV features for all of your sports-related streaming needs, plus Dolby Vision support. Its handiest feature, however, is its Mini-LED backlighting, which is tough to find at this price point. If saving money on a 4K screen ahead of the World Cup is your number-one priority, the modestly sized, 50-inch QM5K is a great candidate.

If you're shopping for a super-affordable TV with an emphasis on easy streaming, this Roku Plus Series deal is worth a look. This TV's modest array of Mini-LEDs allows for better contrast control than what you'll find on cheaper TVs with edge-lit displays, and thanks to its built-in Roku functionality, the Plus Series is very easy to use. This is the TV to get if you're hoping to simplify the streaming process during the World Cup.

If you're in the market for a cheap, big-screen TV ahead of the tournament, consider the 75-inch Hisense U65QF. This is one of the brightest TVs we've tested in the entry-level Mini-LED class, which makes it a great pick for people who intend to watch the World Cup in a bright room. It comes with Amazon's Fire TV smart platform, which synergizes with select Alexa-integrated devices you might have at home. If you need an even bigger screen for your footy-watching needs, the 85-inch U65QF is on sale for $847 at Amazon.

You'll have to add this TV to your Amazon cart in order to see its sale price, but it's worth a look for football fans on the market for a reasonably priced, 65-inch screen. This Samsung QLED serves up mid-range performance and a heaping helping of streaming- and gaming-related features. Its quantum dot-enhanced display allows for brighter, purer color than what is typically seen in garden-variety LED-based TVs, and Samsung's excellent design is on full display here. The aforementioned Hisense U65QF is a better value proposition, but if you're looking for a Samsung-branded option, this is where I would start.

Due to its 48-inch screen size, this OLED deal is only worth it if you have a smaller-sized living space. But as my current favorite TV deal, I couldn't help but include it here. The entry-level LG B5 isn't as bright as higher-end OLED TVs, but you still get to bask in the glory of OLED display technology. It's a sensible choice for bargain-hunters who want an impressive, OLED-driven picture for years after the FIFA World Cup. The 48-inch B5 is a Best Buy-exclusive model, so don't expect to find it anywhere else.

Since it made its debut last year, the TCL QM6K has been one of my go-to recommendations for folks looking for a 65-inch screen on a budget. This is the model to shop if you're a sports fan who's after a more impressive-looking TV than the aforementioned QM5K. The inclusion of Mini-LEDs is why the QM6K delivers higher brightness and better overall contrast than TVs with more rudimentary display types. It also arrives with Google TV, which ought to simplify the streaming schedule once the World Cup rolls around.

The Hisense U75QG is a great option for soccer fans looking to upgrade their living room on a budget, since it punches well above its weight. It features a brighter, more-colorful picture than most entry-level TVs, all while offering many of the same features as higher-end TVs. Amazon's 13% discount may not seem like much now, but it's worth remembering that this TV debuted with an MSRP of $1,499.

The QM8K is one of the brightest TVs on this list, so if you plan on watching the World Cup during the day in a sun-soaked room, this 65-inch screen has your name on it. But brightness isn't the only benefit here — the QM8K is also capable of delivering a colorful, accurate picture during cinematic content. It'll serve you well for years after the tournament.

Like the TCL QM8K, the Hisense U8QG is one of the brightest TVs we've tested in recent years. If you're an A/V enthusiast in addition to a sports fan, you'll also appreciate how accurate the U8QG is right out of the box. Many of the U8QG's size options are on sale right now, but for my money, the 26% discount on the 75-inch version is the one worth considering. On a screen this big and bright, the tournament is bound to look glorious.

This is the OLED TV to get if you want to go all-in on performance without shelling out for a full-price TV ahead of the World Cup. We showered this OLED TV with praise for its sensational performance, its class-leading selection of features and its approachable price point. The C5 delivers all of the benefits we've come to expect from OLED displays, but its design, software and overall experience is the result of LG's excellent engineering. It's one of my favorite TVs ever made, and you can't go wrong with Best Buy's 48% discount.
