This can’t be real! This 65-inch TCL Mini-LED TV just got slashed to under $1,000 in rare Prime Day deal

With Prime Day making headlines, you can expect a range of amazing deals to be snatched across the retailer. If you're in the market for a 65-inch TV but don't want to spend a hefty sum, might I suggest the amazing TCL QM8K, one of our recommended TVs of 2025 and one of TCL's best yet.
Right now, the 65-inch TCL QM8K Mini-LED TV is $948 on Amazon. That's a steep discount, slashing this incredible display with Mini-LED backlighting down from its original $2,499 to under $1,000. That's too hard to beat.
The TCL QM8K is the flagship Mini-LED TV in the brand's 2025 lineup, offering incredible brightness and superb color performance. Like most of TCL's models, it's also built on Google TV, netting you access to all the best streaming apps, and comes equipped with a range of gaming features that make it stand out. Variable refresh rate (VRR) is the big-ticket item, but the QM8K can also play PC games at up to 288Hz when playing in 1080p.
The TCL QM8K is a stunner for the price. In our TCL QM8K Mini-LED TV review, we highlighted its excellent color performance and outstanding brightness, particularly in HDR. Mini-LED TVs are known for their high brightness, and the QM8K is no slouch.
In fact, the QM8K has some of the highest luminance levels tested in our labs all year, reaching a peak of 4,437 nits in HDR. We also tested in Filmmaker mode, which tends to get a little dimmer, measuring at 3,332 nits. This means the QM8K not only has serious performance against glare, but also offers cinematic immersion with improved highlights.
These gains extend to its color output, which is also shown in its HDR performance. QM8K supports all major HDR formats, so you have the benefit of diving into every form of content without worry if you're getting the best possible picture quality, plus you'll get a full spectrum of colors thanks to its broad coverage of the UHDA-P3 and BT2020 gamuts.
The QM8K also stands out with some of the most extensive gaming features on the market. One of my favorites is the Game Accelerator 288 mode, which enables a maximum of 288Hz lag-free gaming with VRR. It's pretty incredible, but its base 144Hz is ideal for most users
Of course, there is one major setback: audio. As with most TVs, the QM8K doesn't have the strongest speaker system, so you'll want to pair this Mini-LED TV with one of the best soundbars. Luckily, there are numerous deals available on Amazon right now, so finding a good one at the right price won't be too difficult.
