More about this mattress
When I first saw this 14" mattress in our sleep studio, my first impressions were 1) what a good looking mattress and 2) wow it's actually cool to the touch. And the rest of our review panel agreed. So, it's safe to say it got off to a good start at the beginning of our testing period.
After sleeping on it for three months, my opinion is still positive. It's kept me cool through sweaty summer nights (for which I'd like to thank the copper-infused memory foam, 760 encased coils and the GlacioTex cover), and supported too.
This is a medium-firm mattress with a plush pillow-top, which is ideal for me as a 5'3", average weight combination sleeper who favors side sleeping. I've found the foams cushioning enough on my pressure points, yet I don't have to fight my way out of them to change position. My spine also feels well aligned on this bed thanks to a zoned lumbar support layer.
Overall, I think it's chiefly suited to side sleepers, combination sleepers and light weight back sleepers. I think heavier back sleepers and strict stomach sleepers would benefit from a firmer bed like the Plank Firm mattress from Plank by Brooklyn Bedding found in our best firm mattress guide.
