I added this $46 foldable dish rack to my kitchen and it instantly doubled my sink space
This space-saving dish rack is just under $50
As someone who loves interior style, I’ve always aimed for a kitchen that looks immaculate, stylish, and of course, clutter-free. And despite my best efforts to achieve a minimalist space, there’s one kitchen essential that I just couldn’t hide — my dish drying rack.
I've bought many dish racks over the years, but have never found the right size to fit all my dishware and pots without taking up a huge amount of countertop space. They've either been too bulky, too small, or a challenge to clean or maintain over time.
Not only do I find they ruin the overall aesthetic, but they can take up valuable space, adding to sink clutter. That's when I discovered this handy drying rack that instantly doubled my sink space.
This foldable dish drying rack can fold flat for lighter loads or into an upright 2-tier shape to accommodate more items. It also comes with a utensil holder and drainboard that are easy to maintain. Measuring just 16 x 14 x 9 inches, it's compact and can be stored away easily, making it perfect for small spaces.
Why I love the OXO fold flat dish drying rack
The OXO Good Grips Aluminum Fold Flat Dish Drying Rack for $46 is a good mix of function and practicality. It has a collapsible design that allows it to convert from a one-tier (flat) to a two-tier rack in just seconds, and its compact size isn't much of an eyesore.
I found this handy to accommodate all of my dishware or pots when needed, and also cuts out visual clutter when flat. I also like the mini utensil holder that can be positioned flat or elevated, depending on your needs.
What's more, the rack is sturdy, with its stainless steel design, and it doesn't feel flimsy like some of the other metal racks I've previously owned.
Perhaps the selling point for me is that you can literally fold it and store it away inside a cabinet or shelf, out of sight. The option of not having a drying rack permanently on my countertop is appealing, freeing up valuable space. Best of all, it's super easy to clean, and I simply wipe it down with a damp microfiber cloth to remove marks.
