Don't wait: the PS5 Slim Digital Edition console is 23% off at Amazon right now
Amazon's slashed the price of the PS5 Slim ahead of Prime Big Deal Days

Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days sale event doesn't officially start until October 7, yet there are already some excellent early deals up for grabs. Case in point, the online retail giant has slashed the price of the PS5 Slim Digital Edition console by a hefty 23%, meaning you can pick it up right now for just AU$749.95 AU$574.
Admittedly, the PS5 Slim was even more affordable earlier this year, with the console's Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 bundle reduced to just AU$569. At the time, we described the discount as "the best console deal you'll find this side of Black Friday," and that appears to be holding true — for now.
So while the current deal doesn't include any bundled games (outside of Astro's Playroom, which comes pre-installed on all PS5 consoles), it's still an excellent saving of AU$175.95 on the console's RRP, making it the best price you'll find on the PS5 Slim right now.
If you can't wait until next week for Amazon's sale to commence, this deal is well worth jumping on (especially as we don't know if the price will go any lower). Please note, this deal does not include the PS5 Disc Drive, which is sold separately at Amazon for AU$124.
Amazon Australia has knocked down the price of the PS5 Slim Digital Edition to just AU$574, which is a sweet 23% off its usual AU$749.95. Even though there was a Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 bundle for AU$569 earlier this year, this is still a solid AU$175.95 saving on the console's regular price. Plus, it's the best deal around right now, and you still get Astro's Playroom pre-installed.
If you're keen to get your hands on a PS5 and don't want to wait until next week's Amazon sale, this deal is definitely worth considering. Please be aware that the PS5 Disc Drive is not included with this offer, but you can always purchase it separately on Amazon for AU$124.
Alternatively, the PS5 Slim with the Disc Drive included can be purchased for AU$699, which is one dollar more than buying them separately.
