We're inching toward fall, but the best streaming services are only heating up with more great movies to watch this weekend. Though with so many choices on offer, narrowing down which movies are worth your precious streaming time can quickly become a headache.

Best movies in the Netflix top 10
'K-Pop Demon Hunters' (2025)
Am I still yapping about how good "K-Pop Demon Hunters" is? You bet. But given that it's been a fixture in Netflix's top 10 for going on three months now, I feel justified in not shutting up about it. Even if K-pop isn't your thing (truth be told, it's not mine either), Sony Pictures Animation keeps churning out hit after hit, and their latest is a bubblegum pop, earworm-filled feast for the eyes and ears — with a genuinely powerful message to boot.
"K-Pop Demon Hunters" follows chart-topping idols Rumi (Arden Cho), Mira (May Hong), and Zoey (Ji-young Yoo), the latest in a long line of musicians who, when they're not killing it on stage, keep the world safe from demons with their harmony. But when a group of demons disguised as a rival boy band comes for the souls of their fans, it spells the end of everything they've worked so hard for. As long-buried secrets threaten to surface, Rumi begins to question everything they've been taught about demons so far. But to have any hope of saving the world, the trio will first have to face the battles raging within themselves.

'The Wrong Paris' (2025)
After helming Lindsay Lohan’s acting comeback in "Irish Wish" last spring, director Janeen Damian teams up with "iCarly" alum Miranda Cosgrove for Netflix's latest delightfully cheesy romcom. Cosgrove stars as a small-town Texas gal who enrolls in a "Bachelor"-style dating show to make her career dreams come true, but gets more than she bargained for when the bachelor (Pierson Fodé) is 1,000% her type.
When Dawn (Cosgrove) earns a coveted spot at a prestigious Parisian art school with absolutely no way to afford it, she hatches a scheme to audition for her favorite dating show, which just so happens to be filming in Paris. The plan is simple: nail the audition, get eliminated, pocket the appearance fee, and stay in France for school. That all goes out the window when she learns it's actually set in Paris, Texas, and worse, the cowboy heartthrob she's competing for is dreamier than she expected.

'aka Charlie Sheen' (2025)
Netflix has been knocking it out of the park with documentaries all summer, so I'm not surprised to see one about one of Hollywood's most infamous stars shoot straight to the top of the charts. At first glance, "aka Charlie Sheen" might look like just another celebrity tell-all, but this one stands out for its especially salacious revelations, including secrets Sheen swore he'd "never to tell outside of his therapist."
From breakout roles in classics like "Platoon" and "Wall Street" to his blockbuster sitcom success on "Two and a Half Men" (as well as the the headline-making spiral that followed), this documentary charts the wild arc of Sheen’s larger-than-life career. Candid interviews with Sheen's ex-wives, longtime collaborators, and even his former drug dealer piece together a raw chronicle of addiction and the struggle toward recovery. Its Rotten Tomatoes shows critics and audiences are divided, but celebrity gossip fans seem to be eating it up given its 84% Popcorn Meter score.
