The 15-inch MacBook Air M4 is one of my favorite laptops — and it’s now $200 off for Prime Day

Amazon’s October Prime Day event officially kicks off tomorrow, but you can save money on a new MacBook right now. If you’ve had your eye on a MacBook Air, the latest 15-inch model is back on sale for its lowest price.
Right now, you can get the 15-inch M4 MacBook Air for $999 at Amazon. At this price, its cost is closer to a 13-inch MacBook Air M4. I often use the 15-inch MacBook Air M4 at the office, so I can assure you that it’s one of the best MacBooks available. Let me tell you why you should consider buying this MacBook. (For more deals, check out our Amazon Prime Day live blog).
The MacBook Air 15-inch M4 is one of the best laptops out there, thanks to its gorgeous display, fast M4-driven performance, sharp 12MP camera and new Sky Blue color. This model already costs $100 less than the previous version. So when you factor in this $200 savings, this is easily one of the biggest deals happening during Prime Day. Note: The 512GB SSD model is also on sale for $1,199.
Like I said in my MacBook Air 15-inch M4 review, this is one of the finest laptops you can own, thanks to its vivid display, fast M4-driven performance, sharp 12MP camera, and eye-catching Sky Blue color. Don’t be intimidated by this laptop’s larger size, as it’s still very light and thin, making it an ideal machine to take anywhere. The keyboard and touchpad are also comfortable to use since they’re so large.
While the 15-inch MacBook Air M4 has the same design as its predecessor, it’s more powerful thanks to its M4 chip. That slice of Apple silicon delivers fast performance that can handle everything from casual work and 4K video editing. You can even play some AAA games like Resident Evil 4 and Baldur’s Gate 3 on this MacBook.
The 15-inch MacBook Air M4 is one of my favorite laptops, so recommending it at this lower price is easy. I’m not sure how long this price drop will last, so I suggest not waiting too long.
