I've been collecting vinyl for many years at this point. Because of that, I've got an overly-complicated set-up that involves speakers, a phono preamp, an amp, and all manner of wires. It sounds great, but it takes up a lot of space. My partner, on the other hand, is just getting started with vinyl and is considering getting a Bluetooth turntable. These have the benefits of being more compact and not requiring an amp: you simply switch it on, pair with your Bluetooth speakers or soundbar, and away you go! If I was starting again today, that's definitely the route I would go down too.

On this page we've pulled together eight record players at a range of price points. There are cheaper models out there too, but it's usually worth investing a little bit more money to get a deck that will sound good and not damage your precious records. We've also included a selection of accessories that keep your vinyl clean and sounding great play-after-play. Happy listening.
