Wired headphones are having a moment. Whether that's because they're more secure or potentially safter than wireless options or because they sound better remains to be seen, but more of you are buying wired headphones than we've seen in a while.

They're my preferred style of cans, and thanks to the Amazon Prime Day sales I've seen some epic deals great wired options. For example, the Apple EarPods are just $16 at Amazon right now. Or, if you want something over-ear, then the Sennheiser HD 599 are just $165 at Amazon, down from $239. These little earbuds bring the sound for cheap.
