3. A New Profile

The new Profile is the first visible change in the new Facebook. It is available now, but you can Go back to the old Facebook site at any time and Send a comment on the new page.

Customizable Boxes

Once you’ve adopted the new Profile, what changes will you see? Well, first of all, obviously, you’ll notice the new page layout. Your Profile is now broken down into four different sections – your Wall, your Info, your Photos and your Boxes. This last tab takes you to a page where you’ll find most of your applications. But you can add other tabs and move/delete applications.

What’s good about the new profile is that everything is now very easy to configure, from the number of people in your Friends display to the Boxes on your page. To make changes, just click on the pencil icon at the upper right corner of each frame. You’ll get a list of all the options that are available to you. Then you can use drag-and-drop editing to change the appearance of your Profile. But let’s look beyond the change in layout and see what else is different...
