Does Network Solutions offer a free trial?
Sadly, no, Network Solutions does not offer a free version of its website builder and does not offer a free trial to any of its plans.

These days, Network Solutions is owned by Newfold Digital, which is one of the Internet's largest web hosting providers.
Did Network Solutions buy Register.com?
No, Network Solutions did not buy Register.com. This is because Register.com and Network Solutions were owned by the same company, called Web.com, now known as Newfold Digital.
Eventually, Newfold Digital merged web.com and Register.com into Network Solutions, so if you are a Register.com customer, your account and domains have been migrated, and you now log in and manage everything directly through the Network Solutions website.

Multi-Year Plans: Like most web hosting companies, Network Solutions heavily discounts its services for customers who are willing to commit to a higher price upfront. If you buy a hosting package on a month-to-month basis, you will pay a premium. However, if you purchase a three-year or five-year plan in advance, the monthly rate drops significantly, often by over 60%. Not only does this save you huge amounts of money over time, but it also locks in that low introductory rate for a much longer period before the standard renewal prices kick in.
Bundled Domains: If you need both a website name and web hosting, never buy the domain name first. If you select an annual Web Hosting plan or a Website Builder package, Network Solutions will automatically bundle in a standard domain name completely free for your first year. Ordering your hosting first will immediately save you the $10 to $25 you would have otherwise spent registering the domain separately.
Transfer After offer period ends: So, this is a bit fiddly, but it saves money. After your intro offer ends, after you buy a multi-year plan, the standard pricing kicks in, and it increases massively. One solution is to transfer your domain to a competitor, such as Hostinger or Squarespace and claim their intro offer, if there is one, to ensure lower prices for the next several years. The downside is you'd have to learn a new website builder; however, from experience, they're all very similar and easy to get to know.
