What does Bark sell?
Bark sells food, dental products, and treat boxes for dogs. Both food and the brand's treat boxes (BarkBox) are available on a subscription basis, meaning you can get a recurring shipment that's tailored to your four-legged friend. Bark also operates BarkAir, a pet-first flights service that makes it easier for you to travel with your dog (or for them to fly alone).
What is BarkBox?
BarkBox is a monthly subscription box that delivers treats for your dog, which include toys and treats made to custom specifications. When you sign up for a subscription, you'll be asked a few details about your dog, including size, weight and dietary preference. These will be used to create your custom treats, so each box is personalized for your pet.
How much is a BarkBox?
BarkBox prices vary depending on your custom preferences for your dog, such as whether they are small, medium or large, or what diet they prefer. However, there are two types of subscription: the standard BarkBox, and the Super Chewer.
Both can be purchased on 1-month, 6-month and yearly plans. For the standard BarkBox, this usually works out at around $35 per box when you pay monthly, $26 per box on a 6-month plan, and $22 per box on a yearly plan. This does not include the $5 shipping fee per box.
What is Super Chewer?
Super Chewer is an alternate BarkBox plan that comes with tougher toys designed to offer extra durability for those rougher-playing dogs. Just like the standard BarkBox plan, Super Chewer can be purchased on a 1-month, 6-month and yearly basis.
Paying monthly will cost you around $40 per box, whilst the 6-month box costs about $29 per box and the yearly plan comes in at around $26 per box. Again, this does not include the $5 shipping fee per box.
How long will my BarkBox take to arrive?
BarkBox orders should arrive within 5-10 working days, with boxes sent on a regular basis for those with subscriptions. Note that for each box sent, you will be charged a $5 shipping fee, unless you also pay for a premium add-on (such as treat bundles or the extra toy plan).
What does BarkAir offer?
BarkAir is a pet-first flight service which lets you search available pet-friendly flights. You can expect dedicated concierge teams, dog chaperone services, full USDA paperwork and vet support, no crates or cargo holds, vetted hotels and more.
With options to suit travel or permanent relocation, whether you're going with your pet or they're going alone, you can use the brand's custom search tool to enter travel dates and passenger details to compare flight options between different pet-friendly airlines.
Bark Saving tips
Choose longer plans
BarkBox offers 1, 6 and 12-month plans on both its standard and Super Chewer boxes, with the longer-term plans working out cheaper per month. Although this will vary in price depending on your custom criteria, it can work out as much as 30% cheaper choosing an annual versus monthly plan.
Get subscriber perks
Bark subscribers can get a number of perks with partner brands such as Wagmo, Outdoorsy, Fi and Wagtopia. Perks include the likes of 10% off insurance, 1 week's free day care, $75 off DNA tests, and free accessories. Just sign up for a 6-month or 12-month BarkBox or Super Chewer subscription to gain access.
Extra toys with your first BarkBox
BarkBoxes come with 2 toys and 2 bags of treats as standard, but new customers starting a multi-month subscription will get an extra 2 of each for their first month as a starting gift. They'll be made to the same custom criteria as the rest of your box too, so you'll still get the most out of your extras even if your dog has particular needs.
Subscribe and save for food
If you're ordering dog food from Bark, you can subscribe to save money on your orders. You can request a custom number of bags to be sent every 2-8 weeks to get 10% off the usual price you'd pay buying per month, letting you save when you stick with the brand.
Get email and text alerts
You can keep up with the latest Bark has to offer by providing your number and email address. Once you do, you'll be sent regular updates on products, along with exclusive deals. You'll also get the chance to buy limited-edition products and win gifts.
How to use Bark promo codes
- Look through the selection of Bark promo codes listed on this page and choose one to redeem.
- Click "Get Code" to reveal it in a new tab and copy the code for later.
- Your old tab will now have loaded the Bark website, where you can shop for products and subscriptions.
- Once you've chosen your plan and headed to the checkout look for the "Promo code" field under the order summary.
- Paste your code into this text field, then click "Apply" to change your order total.
- Once you're happy your discount has been applied, continue through the rest of the checkout to confirm your purchase.

How we test coupon codes
All the coupon codes we list on our pages have been tested by our deals & offers teams to check they work as intended before they’ve been uploaded. You’ll find a wide range of coupons on Tom’s Guide, including free shipping offers, student discounts, and savings on various kinds of products.
To ensure that all listed codes are available to use, we don’t include any one-time use or user-specific coupons. We also provide as much information as we can to keep things as clear as possible - any expiry dates or terms & conditions will be listed alongside the code. What to do if a coupon code doesn’t work
We take care to only list tried & tested coupons on our pages, so all codes should be active and confer the listed discount or deal. However, although we keep up to date with expiry dates and any terms & conditions, sometimes retailers change these before we can update our pages.
Should a coupon fail to work as expected, check you meet any listed requirements. These can include minimum spends, multibuy offers, or product-specific promotions (i.e. 10% off selected tablets). You can view all associated requirements by clicking “View terms and conditions” below your code.

How we make money
Tom’s Guide makes money from coupons through a commission-based model. We have agreements in place with each retailer on our site - for every purchase made using one of our coupons or deals, we earn a small percentage of the order total back in commission.
