We've vetted this year's Amazon Prime Day mattress sales – these are the 5 best deals online today
Amazon Prime Day is live and we've separated the best mattress deals from the rest to help you sleep well for less this summer and beyond. Here's what we recommend...
This year's Amazon Prime Day mattress deals have landed and so far it's been a pretty bland sale from the online retail giant. While there are a handful of genuinely good deals, most of the offers in today's Prime Day deals drop are on cheap beds with no cooling clout to help you sleep well in the summer ahead.
To help you spend your money wisely, we've found Amazon Prime Day mattress deals worth buying. Two of these mattresses are made by Simba and Nectar; sleep brands behind some of the best mattresses we've tested.
We'll be updating this page throughout the week with new deals, vetted by our sleep experts as and when they land. Don't forget, you have to be a Prime member to access these cheaper prices. Not a member? No problem – Amazon is offering a free Amazon Prime 30-day trial all of this week.

This 23cm tall Simba mattress is made with graphite-infused foam to wick away heat so that you don’t overheat while sleeping. This is the first big sale I’ve spotted on the Simbatex Cool Mattress, and the largest saving of £100 is on the double size. It’s also the cheapest price you’ll get it for this Prime Day, so there’s no need to wait if you need a new bed and want this one. Comes with a 200-night sleep trial and free delivery.

It's infused with naturally antibacterial green tea, making it ideal for fresher summer sleep. A double size is down to £107 (was £116) in today's Amazon Prime Day mattress deals.

We've tested numerous versions of the Nectar Classic Memory Foam mattress and rate it highly for contouring comfort when you sleep on your back and your side. It's a good choice for couples, and has a breathable feel despite being an all-foam bed. Even so, we wouldn't recommend it to vry hot sleepers though – see the Simbatex Cool Mattress (#1) instead. A small double and a double Nectar Classic mattress are down to £319 in today's Prime Day deals, but sizes are selling out.

Amazon Prime Day mattress deals 2026: FAQs
When is the Amazon Prime Day sale 2026?
Amazon Prime Day has traditionally taken place in mid-July, but the big sales have come early this year. Now held in June, Prime Day 2026 starts on June 23rd and has a closing date of June 26th.
This means that Prime Day is a four-day event, but we recommend shopping on the opening day to grab the top sleep deals before they sell out fast.
How do I choose a good mattress at Amazon?
When choosing a mattress on Amazon (especially during Prime Day), you'll likely be bombarded with ultra-cheap deals that can seem too good to be true — and that'd because they often are.
So, when looking for a mattress on Amazon, choose a mattress thickness that's over 20cm (8") tall, as anything thinner will be totally unsupportive. We usually recommend 23cm (or 10") and above for most adult sleepers.
Look out for the green "Customers usually keep this item" badge, which is a good sign that the mattress is of decent quality.
Also, take a look at customer ratings and reviews, especially if the mattress is from a brand name that you don't recognise. While brands such as Simba, Nectar, and Dormeo are brands you can trust, you should probably avoid a cheap mattress from an obscure brand with only three reviews and an overall rating of under 4 stars.
