This 65-inch Samsung OLED TV is back down to its Black Friday price of just $899
Best Buy is knocking a full $1,100 off this entry-level OLED
If you've been waiting for an opportunity to score a great deal on a new, impressive-looking TV, this is one of the best times of the year to do so. The biggest brands in the business are busy rolling out their newest TV lineups, which means that, in some cases, last-year's stock is undergoing some seriously steep discounts.
This is happening to some of the most value-packed OLED TVs on shelves. If you opt for an entry-level model, you can potentially get an already-affordable OLED for a wildly low price. Take, for instance, Samsung's most-affordable OLED TV. Right now, the 65-inch Samsung S84F is just $899 at Best Buy. It's a Black Friday-level price tag on an OLED that was already more affordable than most.
Samsung's most affordable OLED TV may not be as much of a showstopper as the brand's flagship-level S95F, but it's still super affordable for a 65-inch OLED TV that just crashed back down to its Black Friday price. It also comes with a useful array of gaming enhancements and streaming features.
As an entry-level OLED, the S84F's picture isn't as bright as the mid-range Samsung S90F and the top-shelf S95F OLED, two other popular models from 2025. Still, the S84F's OLED display holds some massive advantages over regular ol' LED-based TVs.
It offers all of the best features we've come to expect from OLED display technology, including perfect black levels, ultra-wide viewing angles and pixel-level dimming. So while it's not as bright and colorful as higher-end OLED TVs, you're still getting the core benefits of the technology. In nearly every case, I'd rather have an entry-level OLED TV than a similarly priced, mid-range LED TV.
And, despite its entry-level status, the S84F offers many of the same enhancements you'll find on higher-end Samsung OLEDs. It arrives with a helpful array of streaming- and gaming-related features, including support 4K gaming at 120Hz (the highest 4K spec for current-gen consoles).
Samsung's built-in smart platform isn't quite as responsive and streamlined as Roku or Google TV, but it supports a wide range of downloadable apps. For folks who'd rather not pair their next TV with a streaming stick or box, Samsung's smart platform is a capable daily driver.
The S84F is a great compromise for people who want to upgrade to an impressive, cinematic picture without shelling out thousands of dollars.
