This ensures specular highlights and darker scenes a flush of added brilliance, made even more immersive with Dolby Vision enabled.
Another bright spot on the LG C5 is its superior processor. It can power through regular broadcasts with ease, upscaling 1080p and even 720p to 4K with minimal artifacting or downgrades. This is how the LG C5 stands out; it's built on an incredible video processing chip that can give everything from sports to news broadcasts the glow-up they deserve.
Of course, you can also experience your favorite games in the best quality thanks to a slew of amazing features, including ALLM, VRR, and a full suite of HDMI 2.1 ports. As one of the best gaming TVs to launch this year, the C5 is a solid option that can breathe life into your favorite digital escapes through its extensive gaming hub and extremely low input latency of 9.1ms.
We highlight LG's C-series almost every year, noting its exceptional price-to-performance value proposition. Although there are a few minor hindrances, such as the absence of an ATSC 3.0 tuner and HDR10+ support, the LG C5 OLED remains inarguably the most feature-rich TV on the market for the price, which is made even more accessible thanks to a 50% discount.
