Is Philo free?
No, Philo is not free, but it does have a "free version" that is very different from the main paid service. It is essentially a collection of free ad-supported TV channels like USA Today, Cheddar News, RetroCrush, and 24/7 channels dedicated to reruns of old reality shows similar to Pluto TV or Tubi. However, you will not get premium channels like HGTV, MTV, or Discovery.
Does Philo have ESPN?
No, Philo does not have ESPN. This in on purpose because the lack of ESPN and other expensive sports channels is the main reason Philo costs less than competitors.
Does Philo have ads?
Yes, Philo has ads because Philo is a live TV service like cable, it plays the same commercials you would see on standard TV.

Bundle Up: Stop paying for Max and Discovery+ separately, they are bundled in with Philo TV so you can save $15/month if you're already paying for them.
New Customer Deal: New customers only pay $25 on their first month instead of the usual $33 so you save $8. This is especially great if you want to binge a month's worth of shows then cancel.
Refer a Friend: If you refer a friend to Philo, they can save $5 on their first month using your referral link. However, this sometimes conflicts with the first-month discount promo if it's live, so compare them at checkout. Usually, the first-month discount is better than the $5 friend referral.

We also provide as much information as we can to keep things as clear as possible - any expiry dates or terms & conditions will be listed alongside the code. What to do if a coupon code doesn’t work
