How much does a Dish subscription cost?
The price of a Dish subscription varies depending on the plan you choose, but prices generally start from $72.99 outside of promotions (although promotions can lower monthly costs by as much as $20 per month depending on the plan). We've broken down the price of the main packages below:

Does Dish offer add-ons?
Should you find something is missing from your chosen package but isn't quite covered in the next tier up, Dish has plenty of add-ons to choose from that are designed to suit specific needs. We've listed a few examples below:
- National Action Pack: Adds ESPN, ESPN2, FS1, and motor/action sports. Costs $12 per month
- News Pack: Adds FOX News, MSNBC, CNBC, and FOX Business. Costs $10 per month
- Kids Pack: Adds Disney Channel, Nick Jr., and Boomerang. Costs $10 per month
- Variety Pack: Adds Bravo, Investigation Discovery, and Freeform. Costs $6 per month.
Does Dish offer HD?
Absolutely. In fact, all Dish plans included HD TV as standard, with no extra cost for higher resolution, so you enjoy your favorite sports and movies in crisp clear high definition from the word go.
Does Dish offer free installation?
Yes, if you're a new customer, Dish includes professional installation of satellite TV and a Google Assistant voice remote in up to six rooms completely free (a service the brand states is worth up to $199). Once your order has been confirmed, the brand will get in touch to organize a technician to visit your house and install your dish, set up your remote, and sort any other hardware. Note that this only covers standard setup - more complex cases or custom requests will likely incur additional fees.
What is the Dish 2-year price guarantee?
This simply means the price you pay for your 2-year plan remains the price you pay throughout the duration of your subscription - you won't be hit by any unexpected price hikes after the first 12 months, so you know exactly what you're paying at every stage
What is the Dish Anywhere app?
The Dish Anywhere app lets customers watch TV and movies live and on-demand from a mobile device, as well as download shows and films to watch offline, manage DVR recordings (if your DVR is Sling-enabled and connected to the internet), and even check sports scores. The app is free to use for iOS and Android so long as you're signed up to a Dish plan.

Wait for the holidays
Like many TV services, Dish is no stranger to a seasonal sale, and likes to offer limited-time promotions around big events such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, 4th July, Labor Day and the start of a new season. Watch out for extra channels offered via free bundles, gift cards worth up to $300, and monthly price drops of as much as $20 a month across a 2-year plan (or even a straight-up $250 discount on upfront payments). Get a military or first responder discount
If you're an active member of the US military, a veteran or a first responder, verify your status before you purchase a 2-year plan and Dish will throw in the Stars and Stripes package completely free. This includes custom-curated channels like American Heroes Channel, Smithsonian Channel, and STARZ Encore Westerns, and is valued at $240 across your 2-year plan. On top of this, you'll also get one free movie to rent each month, a free upgrade to a Hopper DVR (letting you stream on the go), and some premium channels including in your package for free for your first 3 months.
Get a healthcare or teacher discount
It's not just members of the military who can save on their TV packages - teachers or healthcare workers who verify their employment status can access the Heartland Pack (which includes channels such as the Hallmark Channel, Game Show Network, and Discovery Family, and is valued at $144 annually) when they sign up for a 2-year plan. As with the military discount, you'll also get a free on-demand movie to rent each month.
Get an over 55s discount
If you're over 55 and don't currently have a Dish subscription, you can get a few free perks by verifying your age before purchasing selected TV packages. Once your eligibility is confirmed, you'll get one free movie rental each month, plus six months of Dish Protect Plus membership (which protects against identity theft and usually costs $12.99 a month), and an annual visit from a technician to ensure your hardware is updated, correctly set up, or replaced if needed.

To ensure that all listed codes are available to use, we don’t include any one-time use or user-specific coupons. We also provide as much information as we can to keep things as clear as possible - any expiry dates or terms & conditions will be listed alongside the code. What to do if a coupon code doesn’t work
We take care to only list tried & tested coupons on our pages, so all codes should be active and confer the listed discount or deal. However, although we keep up to date with expiry dates and any terms & conditions, sometimes retailers change these before we can update our pages.
