Disney+ Promo Codes for Jan 2026
Use one of these 6 Disney+ coupon codes to save on your streaming subscription and watch award-winning shows for less
FAQs
Does Disney plus have a free trial?
Sadly no, there is no free trial for Disney+ currently. However, you can save money on your subscription when bundled with ESPN or HULU.
Does Disney plus have ads?
Disney+ offers both a 'Standard with Ads' plan and an ad-free 'Premium' plan. However, even the Premium option may include some promotional content like trailers for other Disney+ titles.
Does Disney Plus come with Hulu?
Although they're technically two different services, many people opt for them together through the Disney Bundle. It's a popular package that bundles Disney+, Hulu, and typically ESPN+ for a single price.
Disney+ Saving Tips
Bundle & Save: If you also watch Hulu or ESPN+, never pay for Disney+ on its own. The standalone price for Disney+ (No Ads) is steep ($18.99/mo). However, the Disney+ and Hulu bundle starts at roughly $10.99/mo for the ad-supported versions. You are essentially getting two services for less than the price of one standalone Premium subscription. If you want HBO Max too, the new Disney+, Hulu, and Max bundle is often cheaper than paying for Max separately.
Switch to the Annual Plan: If you are committed to the ad-free experience, stop paying monthly. The annual plan costs $189.99/year. While that sounds like a big upfront hit, the math works out to paying for 10 months and getting 2 months free.
Use the Verizon "MyPlan" Perk: If you have a mobile plan with Verizon, check your "MyPlan" perks. Verizon offers a bundle perk where you can get the Disney Bundle (Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+) for just $10/mo. Since that bundle costs typically significantly more (around $18.99+), you are saving roughly $9 a month just by billing it through your phone carrier.
Check Your Amex "Digital Entertainment" Credit: If you hold the American Express Platinum Card, you likely have a $20 monthly Digital Entertainment Credit. You can use this credit to pay for your Disney+ (or Disney Bundle) subscription. If you sign up for the benefit and set your Disney+ payment method to that card, the subscription becomes effectively free up to $20/mo.
Downgrade to Basic: Disney+ has aggressively hiked the price of its ad-free tier, which may push users toward the ad-supported plan. If you are on a tight budget, the Disney+ Basic plan is the cheapest entry point. The ad load is generally lighter than on Hulu or cable TV, so if you can tolerate a few interruptions, it saves you about $80+ per year compared to Premium.
How we source Disney+ coupon codes
The coupons you’ll find on Tom’s Guide have been sourced by our dedicated coupons team, who use the web, our relationships with retailers, & our affiliate networks to find the latest codes. The offers on each coupon page are updated every few days to ensure we feature the freshest ways to save, and our commercial team (based in London) also sources exclusive codes and sales info directly from some of the biggest retailers around.
How we test Disney+ coupon codes
All the coupon codes we list on our pages have been tested by our deals & offers teams to check they work as intended before they’ve been uploaded. You’ll find a wide range of coupons on Tom’s Guide, including free shipping offers, student discounts, and savings on various kinds of products.
To ensure that all listed codes are available to use, we don’t include any one-time use or user-specific coupons. We also provide as much information as we can to keep things as clear as possible - any expiry dates or terms & conditions will be listed alongside the code. Look for the ‘Terms & Conditions’ text - you’ll be able to click this to expand this section for more details.
What to do if my coupon code doesn’t work
We take care to only list tried & tested coupons on our pages, so all codes should be active and confer the listed discount or deal. However, although we keep up to date with expiry dates and any terms & conditions, sometimes retailers change these before we can update our pages.
Should a coupon fail to work as expected, check you meet any listed requirements. These can include minimum spends, multibuy offers, or product-specific promotions (i.e. 10% off selected tablets). You can view all associated requirements by clicking “View terms and conditions” below your code.
If this does not solve your issue, you can contact our customer service team by emailing coupons.tomsguide@futurenet.com. Make sure to let us know which coupon you were trying to use and which page this was listed on, and we’ll be in touch to help as soon as possible.
How we make money
Tom’s Guide makes money from coupons through a commission-based model. We have agreements in place with each retailer on our site - for every purchase made using one of our coupons or deals, we earn a small percentage of the order total back in commission.
Thanks to this model, we can save our customers money without charging them a thing. You won’t pay a penny to get the discounts listed on our pages, so whichever code or deal you choose, you’ll get exactly what it says on the tin.
