Prime Video’s top 10 can feel like a moving target, which is part of the fun when you’re hunting for something new to watch. From fresh hits to returning favorites, it’s a snapshot of what viewers are really streaming right now.

But not every trending show is worth the binge, especially when your queue is already overflowing. That’s why I’ve narrowed it down to three standout series that are perfect for this weekend.

This list includes a new spy thriller fighting for the No. 1 spot, the third season of a popular romantic drama (team Conrad), and a comedy drama that was recently added to the streamer.

This is based on the Prime Video top 10 U.S shows as of Friday, August 15, 2025.

“Butterfly” might not hit you with the high-octane spy thrills you’re anticipating at first, but it charms with its emotional core. The show carves out its own space by weaving a layered family story through the midst of its intense action moments.

This spy thriller follows David Jung (Daniel Dae Kim), a former U.S. intelligence operative who faked his death to protect his family. The series kicks off when David’s estranged daughter, Rebecca (Reina Hardesty), now a trained assassin for the covert agency Caddis, is assigned to eliminate him.

The story turns into a high-stakes game of cat and mouse, taking viewers across multiple locations in South Korea as David tries to stay one step ahead of the daughter he once knew everything about and the organization that trained her.

‘Good Cop/Bad Cop’

Watch On

Prime Video recently added all eight episodes of “Good Cop/Bad Cop” to its lineup. Created by John Quaintance and co-produced with The CW and Stan, the series originally premiered on the network in February.

This comedy drama follows estranged siblings Lou (Leighton Meester) and Henry Hickman (Luke Cook), who are unexpectedly reunited as detectives in the small, quirky town of Eden Vale.

Their father, Chief Big Hank (Clancy Brown), a police chief with a reputation for bending the rules, assigns them to work together despite their strained relationship. Lou is a seasoned, people-savvy detective, while Henry is socially awkward and hyper-logical, creating a mismatched yet compelling duo.

Each episode presents a new case, often involving colorful locals and unusual circumstances, challenging the siblings to navigate their differences and solve the mysteries at hand.

Prime Video’s beloved YA romance is streaming its third and final season, and episode 6 is now out — things are getting steamier than ever. “The Summer I Turned Pretty” continues to release new episodes every Wednesday, keeping fans hooked on the love triangle at the heart of the story.

Season 3 picks up with Belly (Lola Tung) wrapping up her junior year and navigating life at Finch University alongside Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno). But just when she thinks she’s settled, Conrad (Christopher Briney) reappears, reigniting old sparks and making Belly confront where her heart truly belongs.

Episode 6 takes the tension even higher, and if you’re team Conrad, now’s the perfect time to dive in (the drama and passion are only intensifying).
