Update: As of 11/27, this $169 at Walmart deal is no longer running. Meanwhile, they can still be found for $189 at Best Buy.

If you've been waiting for Apple's AirPods Pro 2 earbuds to drop to their lowest price for Black Friday, then you'll want to know that the price just dropped to its lowest ever in one of the best Black Friday deals I've seen.

Right now, the AirPods Pro 2 with lightning charging case are just $169 at Walmart. That's a huge $80 saving on the $249 list price, and extraordinary value for one of the best wireless earbuds ever made.

This is one of the best Black Friday headphones deals I've seen, but I feel it's important to clarify that the deal is on the 2022 model rather than the updated version with a USB-C charging case that arrived in September. Also note that the deal goes live for Walmart Plus members at noon ET, and will open up to all customers at 3 p.m. ET.

Apple AirPods Pro 2 (2022): was $249 now $169 @ Walmart
The AirPods Pro 2 continue to rank are among the best wireless earbuds in the world. Although these are the 2022 version, there really is no difference other than the USB-C charging case and full compatibility with Apple's Vision Pro mixed-reality headset. They're fitted with Apple's H2 chip, provide 2x more noise cancelation than the original model, and support all the new adaptive audio features that arrived with iOS 17. They also offer Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking for a more immersive audio experience.

I love the AirPods Pro 2 and have been using them as my go-to pair of wireless earbuds for my gym workouts and routine commutes to the Tom's Guide office since they launched in 2022. Not only are they one of the best wireless earbuds around right now, but they're also among the best workout headphones as well as the best noise-canceling earbuds I've tested. These second-generation buds are a big step up from the regular Apple AirPods, but also the original AirPods Pro.

Don't believe me? In our AirPods Pro 2 review, we said “they amp up many of the features we loved about the original, and while they’re not perfect, they offer some of the best noise cancellation and spatial audio of any pair of earbuds available.” We even awarded them our Editor’s Choice seal of approval.

On the audio front, Apple has included a new H2 chip that delivers seriously impressive audio performance. Plus, the AirPods Pro 2 support spatial audio with Dolby Atmos soundtracks and the new adaptive audio features that arrived with iOS 17. Apple also added volume controls on the stem of the earbuds, and boosted the battery life to offer six hours on a single charge. And you get an even further 30 hours thanks to the wireless charging case.

Add in the AirPods Pro 2 IPX-4 water resistance rating and its waterproof charging case and it's easy to see why these earbuds are a great choice for daily use. So grab a pair now before it's too late!
