Black Friday week is finally here, and as a dude who lives and breathes all matters computing, it's an exciting time.

I've got a very specific setup I use to do my job as a computing editor here on Tom's Guide. One that involves two large displays, the world's most powerful GPU, but also far more affordable peripherals that make getting through the working day just that little bit easier. Like a pair of extremely comfortable wrist rests my aging joints couldn't do without.

So without further ado, here are some great Black Friday deals on the PC equipment that proves a life-saver to me on a daily basis, from a cutting edge ultrawide QD-OLED gaming monitor to a teeny wireless keyboard I adore.

LG 48" C3 OLED 4K TV: was $1,196 now $996 @ Amazon
EDITOR'S CHOICE!
I think this is pretty much the perfect bedroom/home office display for a hardcore gamer. 48-inches screams 'ideal second TV' size, and when it comes to being PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X-friendly, the LG C3 OLED really can't be beaten. Hitting 820 nits peak HDR brightness and covering 98.98% of the P3 Gamut coverage scale, the out-of-the box picture on LG's latest mid-range OLED is so good, very little settings tweaks are needed. Though I'd turn off all motion-smoothing features. Obviously.

Alienware Aurora R15 Gaming Desktop: was @4,499 now @3,339 @ Dell
$1,100 OFF!
To do proper justice to this titan of a gaming PC, you really need to treat yourself to one of the best Black Friday monitor deals. With its RTX 4090 GPU and 13th Gen Intel Core i9 13900KF, this is pretty much as formidable as high-end gaming components get. This is a rig that demands a brilliant 4K/120Hz display to get the most out of it. This is only one of two items on my list I don't technically own, but my home-built 4090-powered PC acts as a close substitute.

Corsair iCUE 5000D RGB ATX Mid-Tower Case: was $219 now $169 @Best Buy

Corsair iCUE 5000D RGB ATX Mid-Tower Case: was $219 now $169 @Best Buy
If you want total control of your CPU temps and fan speeds, this Corsair case is a terrific choice. It pairs particularly well with the company's iCUE software, and with the right tweaks, you’ll soon be playing games on a PC that’s quieter than a gazelle on a bachelor party for lions.

ChampSun 8-in-1 Steam Deck Docking Station: was $39 now $17 @ Amazon

ChampSun 8-in-1 Steam Deck Docking Station: was $39 now $17 @ Amazon
The other PC accessory in this round-up I haven't tested. My Steam Deck dock is made by Sabrent, but this effort from ChampSun has excellent customer reviews on Amazon, and actually features more USB sockets than my dock and a DisplayPort cable slot; another connection my (still excellent) Steam Deck accessory lacks.

Alienware AW3423DWF QD-OLED Gaming Monitor: was £929 now £739 @ Dell

Alienware AW3423DWF QD-OLED Gaming Monitor: was £929 now £739 @ Dell
This amazing display is one of the best gaming monitors you can buy today. Its 21:9 aspect ratio gives you a wider field of view in games — particularly useful for first-person shooters — and ultrawides remain great for productivity tasks. Just bear in mind you're going to need a big desk to accommodate this sensational screen.

Razer Basilisk Ultimate Wireless Gaming Mouse: was £170 now £100 @ Amazon

Razer Basilisk Ultimate Wireless Gaming Mouse: was £170 now £100 @ Amazon
This ultra-responsive gaming mouse can reach a DPI sensitivity of a pretty incredible 20,000 and comes with a handy charging station. That level of sensitivity is obviously overkill for all but the most hardcore first-person shooter fans, but crank those settings down a little and it proves to be a brilliant peripheral for daily computing tasks.

Trust 23637 Tyro Full HD Webcam: was £49 now £13 @ Amazon

Trust 23637 Tyro Full HD Webcam: was £49 now £13 @ Amazon
A quality, no-frills 1080p webcam that just gets the job done. It's a massive 70% off in this brilliant Black Friday deal, and the picture clarity is more detailed than any webcam I've used in any gaming laptop I've reviewed this year.

Razer Ergonomic Wrist Rest: was £19 now £15 @ Amazon

Razer Ergonomic Wrist Rest: was £19 now £15 @ Amazon
Writing at my L-shaped desk — and sitting precisely where the join of that ‘L’ meets — can be awkward. Owning two of these wrist rests doesn't make things less awkward, but it does make navigating my colossal desk less painful on my brittle bones. These foam cushions are comfy and feel like they were made with real care.
