ExpressVPN's exclusive gaming deal was supposed to end on March 19, but it's still live. The VPN sits at number three on our best VPN list and it's ideal for VPN beginners.

Two-year plans, with four months free, start at $2.27 per month, making this the cheapest ExpressVPN has ever been – and one of the best VPN deals around right now.

A 28-month plan costs $2.27 per month ($63.52 upfront pre-tax) and includes a 30-day money-back guarantee.

The deals at a glance

Since it's switch to a tiered pricing structure, we've seen ExpressVPN drop below $3 per month a handful of times.

But prices have never been this cheap, with plans starting from $2.27 per month. If you want a complete privacy suite, it can be yours for less than $5 per month.

All two-year plans come with an extra four months and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

A complete privacy suite for less than $5 per month

At $4.87 per month ($136.32 upfront), ExpressVPN Pro represents incredible value.

It bundles five standalone apps into one subscription: the VPN itself, ExpressMailGuard (email aliases), ExpressKeys (password manager), Identity Defender (ID theft protection), and ExpressAI, a private-by-design AI tool that's currently exclusive to Pro subscribers.

You'll also get Dedicated IP, protection for up to 14 devices, and the most premium version of every feature in the suite.

Dedicated IP grants you your own VPN IP address that nobody else can use. This can help reduce annoying CAPTCHAs while still giving you VPN protection. This is usually a paid add-on costing $3.99 per month.

Typically, this plan costs $7.49 per month, so you're saving over $2.50 per month at this price.

One caveat: Identity Defender is a US exclusive, so international subscribers won't have access to it. But at under $5 per month for everything else, it's still exceptional value wherever you are.

How does it compare to other VPNs?

At every tier, this deal undercuts NordVPN's equivalent plans, while offering more features.

If you're purely after a VPN and want to spend as little as possible, Surfshark starts at $1.99 per month and PrivadoVPN can be had for as little as $1.11 per month, but you won't get anything close to ExpressVPN's privacy suite at those prices.

ExpressVPN isn't the fastest VPN we've tested on non-Windows devices, and it's not our top pick for streaming either: Proton VPN and NordVPN edge it out on both fronts. So if speed or streaming is your priority, those are worth a look.

That said, ExpressVPN is one of the easiest VPNs to use, making it a great pick for beginners. Power users who want deep customization options may prefer something like Private Internet Access, but for most people, this deal is hard to argue with.
