CyberGhost came out surprisingly well in our latest streaming service tests – worldwide access to Netflix, Disney Plus, Prime Video and more for just over $2 per month is not to be sniffed at

Accessing geo-restricted streaming libraries is one of the most popular use cases for the best VPNs.

Whether your comfort films are only available in another country, or you're away from home but can't bear to miss your favorite show, the best streaming VPNs can access every major streaming service.

CyberGhost is one of the most capable. In our latest streaming tests, it unblocked every service we tested it with – including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+, as well as a host of regional sites.

A 26-month CyberGhost plan costs $2.19 per month ($56.94 upfront, pre-tax) and comes with an impressive 45-day money-back guarantee.

CyberGhost isn't packed full of features. But if you're after an excellent streaming with decent speeds, it's a great affordable choice.

Near-perfect streaming unblocking

In our May 2026 round of streaming testing, CyberGhost's results were almost perfect. The regions we looked at were: Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, the UK, and US.

CyberGhost succeeded first time in unblocking all regions of Netflix. It also saw success with Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video. Its ability to unblock Amazon Prime Video is impressive considering many major VPNs have struggled with the latter in recent months.

US YouTube is another notoriously hard test to pass – NordVPN and Surfshark both failed – but CyberGhost unblocked it first time.

Regional services are no trouble either. Channel 4 and ITV in the UK can be accessed, along with 9Now in Australia. CyberGhost also had no trouble with Apple TV+, Paramount+, and DAZN.

We can't test every streaming site out there, but from what we've seen, CyberGhost is unlikely to be blocked by your favorite platform. CyberGhost's 125 server locations in 100 countries means you'll have plenty of choices – and it has dedicated servers for UK BBC iPlayer and US Netflix.

Only two services caused CyberGhost any trouble. BBC iPlayer in the UK, and 10Play in Australia took a few tries to unblock – the VPN managed it after switching servers a couple of times.

Streaming 4K Netflix requires a minimum of 25 Mbps. CyberGhost's 674 Mbps is more than enough to handle this, but it isn't quite as speedy as the fastest VPNs out there.

Streaming is what CyberGhost does best, and it does it better than most. Its apps are simple and easy to use, with seven devices supported on one plan. With subscriptions costing just over $2 per month, it won't break the bank.
