Black Friday is almost upon us, and even though it's only the first day of the week, we've already seen some killer discounts on our favorite tech. Whether you've been saving up for a TV, laptop, gaming console or a camera, there are many great discounts to be had. And if, like me, you love aerial photography and are looking for a drone to buy, there's no better time than this week.

The best drones enable you to take to the skies and capture the world from a bird's point of view. I test and review these nifty quadcopters for a living, so I'll be keeping you posted on the best Black Friday drone deals all week. If you want an easy-to-use selfie drone, the HoverAir X1 ProMax is currently 28% off at Amazon, and the bundle includes a bunch of goodies for a smooth flying experience.

For those wanting a drone that captures stunning images while being extremely safe to fly, the DJI Flip with the RC-2 controller is down to just $509 at Amazon. It's my pick for the best drone for beginners, so I can't recommend this deal enough. And while the Flip isn't discounted in the U.K., the DJI Neo Motion Fly More Combo is available for just £378, and it's a wonderful small drone for first-time buyers and FPV enthusiasts.
