AquaVista Aquarium Mounts on Wall, Feeds Fish

Enjoy the aesthetics of tropical fish swimming around—while indulging your laziness

From AquaVista comes the Panoramic Wall Aquarium, a relatively thin water tank designed to go on the wall. At nearly six inches thick, the aquarium is nevertheless capable of supporting a self-sustaining ecosystem for those colorful tropical fish.

AquaVista's creation also supports laziness, thanks to a programmable automatic feeder. That and the rest of the aquarium's systems, including temperature control, the air pump, and lighting are controlled through the touch-screen LCD on the side.

The six foot model will weigh over 350 pounds total when full of water, but AquaVista says their wall-mounting system can get the job done. Aluminum frames the aquarium's glass and acrylic panes, and available colors are black or silver.

Owners still need to regularly refill the feeder of course, and perhaps do a little cleaning from time to time. But AquaVista promises that the Panoramic Wall Aquarium is a very low-maintenance machine, requiring only "less than 15 minutes per month".

All that supposed ease comes at a price however. The AquaVista Panoramic Wall Aquarium comes in two models. The 5-foot (58.3" x 6" x 23.6") 20-gallon model goes for $995, while the 6-foot variant (70.1" long, same thickness and height) can hold 25 gallons and will set you back by $1195.
