In our LG C5 OLED TV review, we had almost nothing but praise for this set. Its gorgeous display made everything our testers viewed look remarkably good; both colorful and dark scenes popped off the screen thanks to this TV's incredible levels of contrast.
OLED TVs have historically been lacking in brightness, which makes them suboptimal for bright rooms. But with the LG C5, that's no longer a problem. It has a new display that reduces reflections with panache, and it reached a high peak brightness of 1165 nits.
The LG C5 OLED is also one of the best TVs out there for gamers; it offers low lag times, a high refresh rate and support for Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium.
There are a few downsides to this TV, but they're not too egregious. The sound is just good enough, and the remote is mostly fine, but occasionally annoying to use due to its streamlined design.
