Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra revealed in leaked case image — here's what it looks like

We're months away from Samsung announcing its next S26 lineup, but we're starting to see glimpses of the the high-end Ultra model. The only model that feels guaranteed to release at this point.
Previously leaked renders suggest that that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have a redesigned camera mesa similar to that on the Galaxy S25 Edge and the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The current S25 Ultra features camera rings that are mostly flush to the rear panel, while the S26 version should feature a raised bump surrounding the lenses.
A leaked image from regular Samsung leaker Tarun Vats seems to confirm this new detail. His image shows the phone in a third-party case next to an uncased phone in a black colorway.
Tarun Vats claims this is a "real-life look" but it's possible this could also be a render.
Like previous leaks, this one shows the phone with rounder corners than the S25 Ultra, flat sides, and the camera bump. You can also see volume rockers and the power button.
Other specs
Outside of the slightly redesigned camera bump and rounded corners, the S26 Ultra should be a similar size with a 6.9-inch display that will be an M14 OLED screen.
We expect it to run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, at least in some regions. It should have 12GB of RAM and come in 256GB/512GB or 1TB storage capacities.

On a disappointing front, it's rumored the high-end model will feature the same 5,000 mAh battery and similar camera specs as the last few Ultra models. These include a 200MP main (f/1.4), 50MP ultrawide, 12MP 3x telephoto, and 50MP 5x telephoto.
Model confusion
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra may be the only phone to remain both the same specs-wise and retain the name of its predecessor.
Disparate rumors have claimed that the Plus model is going away in favor of the S26 Edge. However, just today, reports suggested that Samsung is cancelling the S26 Edge due to poor sales of the S25 Edge.
The vanilla S26 model may be renamed the S26 Pro, for some reason, and like the Ultra, it could feature the same battery and camera specs as last year's model.
