Hot sleeper? Hologenix launches new cooling pillow powered by infrared technology
The infrared Dream Pillow marked its UK debut at the Health Organisation Summit in London last week

We've tested scores of pillows to bring you our guide to the best pillows on the market today for all sleepers and budgets, including cooling options for hot sleepers.
Getting the temperature right plays a huge role in your sleep quality, especially for those who tend to overheat or run cold. But what if we told you that there’s a new pillow which automatically captures to allow you to sleep comfortably?
Hologenix, the pioneer brand and creator of Celliant, a proprietary infrared technology used in textile innovation, has now launched the Dream Pillow in the UK — a pillow designed to promote thermoregulation and boost recovery while you sleep.
Unlike regular bed pillows, the latest launch from Hologenix, which is already available to buy in the US, is crafted to deliver benefits much beyond a plush comfy surface to rest on.
Backed by science, this pillow, which recently marked its international debut at the London Health Organisation Summit, broadens the horizon of sleep technology. Let’s take a look at the product specs in detail…
The Infrared Dream Pillow: Price
While the Dream Pillow launched to a UK market this week, Hologenix has been available to buy it the US since May. The queen size is priced at $99.99, while a king will cost you $119.
Compared to other standard bedding brands like Coop Sleep Goods and Purple, the Infrared Dream Pillow falls within a mid-price range at $99 for a queen, especially considering the technology and materials incorporated. For reference, the Coop Original Adjustable (queen) is $85 and the recently launched Purple GridCloud pillow is $149.
However, one potential drawback is the lack of a sleep trial or warranty, which is something we would expect considering the price and build. While it's a recent launch, we also don't see any discounts or introductory offers as of now.
The lack of extra benefits and deals aside, due to a positive customer response, it is also now available in the UK with a queen at £90 and a king pillow at £109, plus other European countries like France, Germany and Poland.
The Infrared Dream Pillow: from $99.99 at Celliant
The Infrared Dream Pillow is available in both queen and king sizes. In the US, a queen is priced at $99.99 while a king is $119. In the UK, it is £90 and £109 respectively. Unfortunately, it does not come with a sleep trial or warranty.
The Infrared Dream Pillow: Features
The primary function of this innovative pillow is thermoregulation, but how does that happen? All thanks a material called Celliant, a thermo-reactive synthetic fiber which captures heat and converts it into infrared energy. Thanks to its temperature regulating benefits, it's found in some of the best cooling mattresses.
Release date: September 2025
Sizes: Queen and king
Warranty: Nil
Trial: Nil
Celliant is essentially a blend of natural bioceramic minerals, which works to regulate temperature by capturing our body heat and reflecting it back to our skin, muscles and tissues in the form of infrared light.
“Infrared has such incredible benefits, and one day, I hope it’s part of everyone’s routine," says Seth Casden, CEO and co-founder of Hologenix.
By converting heat into infrared energy, the Infrared Dream Pillow aids muscle recovery by improving local circulation, temperature regulation and restful sleep.
"We’re always expanding our offerings and identifying new partners – the Dream Pillow is our latest step in bringing infrared technology directly to consumers," adds Casden.
In terms of build, it's crafted from 50% Celliant polyester and 50% of regular polyester. It also comes encased in a 100% cotton cover which is soft and breathable. It's also hypoallergenic, machine washable and tumble-dryer friendly.
