Figuring out what to stream on Prime Video can be tricky, largely because the top 10 experiences the usual shuffle every week. With several trending picks dominating the charts, it’s not always easy to spot what’s genuinely worth watching. And with new content dropping all the time, the list just keeps growing.
Of course, we’re here to help. Each week I go through the streamer’s charts so you’re not stuck searching for hours. Looking at what’s trending right now, we’ve selected three standout series to watch this week, almost all of which have recently come back with new seasons.
Among them is a savage superhero drama still clinging onto the No. 1 spot following its final season release, one of the best horror series ever made, and a new adult animated sitcom starring Aubrey Plaza.
Article continues belowThis list is based on the Prime Video U.S. top 10 shows as of Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
Best shows in the Prime Video top 10
‘The Boys’
Today is wicked Wednesday, which means another episode of “The Boys” season 5 has dropped. There won’t be any spoilers for those who haven’t caught up or watched the new season yet, but what I can say is, expect a bloody good time. This final season is very much focused on packing in the gore and shock value, so hardcore fans of the series will have a rollercoaster journey to say the least.
“The Boys” season 5 picks up with Homelander (Antony Starr) tightening his grip on the world, forcing dissenters into camps while Starlight (Erin Moriarty) leads a resistance. The team is scattered until Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) returns with a deadly virus capable of wiping out all Supes. As both sides race to control it, friendships begin to fracture, setting up a dangerous conflict that could determine who ultimately survives.

‘From’
Oh “From,” how I love to rave about you to anyone who will listen. Family and friends reading this, yes I’m about to go on about this series once again, but for anyone simply looking for a solid pick, add “From” to your watchlist. Not only has the first episode of the new season just landed on MGM+, but season 1 is also set to leave Prime Video at the end of this month. If you’ve seen all the much-deserved hype, now’s your sign to finally dive in and experience the brilliant horrors of this unique town.
“From” is a sci-fi horror series set in a nightmarish, seemingly normal American town that traps everyone who enters, with no known escape. Daylight offers brief safety, but at night terrifying humanoid creatures emerge from the surrounding forest, hunting the residents. Led by sheriff Boyd Stevens (Harold Perrineau), the town’s inhabitants struggle to survive, uncover the town’s hidden rules, and understand the mystery of their imprisonment.

‘Kevin’
Prime Video currently has two adult animated dramas in its top 10 with “Invincible” and “Kevin.” While both are worth streaming, it’s the latter that’s really caught my attention since it dropped just two days ago. Despite running for just eight episodes, “Kevin” could prove to be a standout and entertaining addition to the streamer’s animation lineup, the kind of series that works well as background viewing or an easy mood-booster.
“Kevin” follows a pampered housecat (Jason Schwartzman) who unexpectedly leaves his human owners after their breakup and sets out to live independently. He soon ends up at a chaotic pet rescue shelter in Queens, where he meets a group of eccentric animals including Dana (Aubrey Plaza) and their human caretakers. As Kevin adjusts to his new surroundings, he begins slowly redefining what he wants from his life and where he truly belongs in the world.
