Paramount+ has the perfect show for you to binge-watch this weekend. The streaming service adds new shows or new episodes of ongoing series every week that are worthy of adding to your watchlist. Sure, it might be more known for its library of movies than its original shows, but Paramount+ originals are often worth watching. Plus, the streamer doesn't just add new original shows; it also pulls in new shows from Paramount's networks, like CBS, and coproductions with international studios.
This weekend, I've got three options for your next binge-watch. "Can You Keep a Secret" is a new British sitcom that already aired in the U.K., so you can stream the entire first season this weekend. Speaking of British shows, "Coldwater" is a new British thriller series that just dropped its finale this week (on Feb. 13). Finally, "Star Trek" fans have a new series that's now six episodes deep into its first season, and it explores a part of "Star Trek" history that's far in the future from the days of "The Original Series" and "The Next Generation," so you won't want to miss it.
So let's dive into why these shows are worth a watch. Here are the three new to Paramount+ shows you need to be binge-watching this weekend. And don't forget to check out everything coming to Paramount+ in February 2026 for more options.

Malcolm has been with Tom's Guide since 2022 and watches dozens of shows each year so you don't need to watch any bad ones. He's already watched eight seasons of TV this year and thankfully, it's mostly been good.
'Can You Keep a Secret?'
Genre: British sitcom
What's it about? When Debbie Fendon (Dawn French) discovers her husband William (Mark Heap) is mistakenly declared dead, she doesn't try to fix the issue. Instead, they decide to pretend he is dead and wait for the life insurance to pay out. Their son, Harry (Craig Roberts), isn't so keen on the idea, though, given that his wife, Neha (Mandip Gill), works for the local police.
Why you should watch it: This show is actually based on a true story, and I already love the premise. Plus, at just six half-hour episodes, "Can You Keep a Secret?" is extremely bingeable.

'Coldwater'
Genre: British thriller/drama
What's it about? In an effort to make a fresh start, John (Andrew Lincoln) takes his family to the Scottish village of Coldwater. At first, it seems that the plan is working, but the peaceful village is hiding dark secrets, and the minister's charming husband, Tommy (Ewen Bremner), might not be so charming after all.
Why you should watch it: If you like a dark thriller, then this show is worth checking out. The season finale went live on Friday (Feb. 13), so you can binge the entire season this weekend if you haven't been keeping up.

'Star Trek: Starfleet Academy'
Genre: Science fiction
What's it about? "Star Trek: Starfleet Academy" takes place in the 32nd century, which is centuries ahead of most of the "Star Trek" universe to date. Both Starfleet and the United Federation of Planets are recovering from a cataclysmic event (depicted briefly in "Star Trek: Discovery"). So in this show, we're following Starfleet's first new class of cadets in over a century, who are training aboard USS Athena in San Francisco.
Why you should watch it: "Star Trek: Starfleet Academy" is currently loved by critics and panned by audiences. It has an 88% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes from the former, but just a 43% from the latter. Start watching now to see which camp you fall into.

More from Tom's Guide
- 'Crime 101' review: This crime thriller is one of my favorite movies of the year so far
- 'Cross' is back on Prime Video for season 2, and the thriller is even more twisty and brutal than ever
- 'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms' just proved 'Game of Thrones' is back with the best show episode of the year so far

Malcolm has been with Tom's Guide since 2022, and has been covering the latest in streaming shows and movies since 2023. He's not one to shy away from a hot take, including that "John Wick" is one of the four greatest films ever made.
