I ditched all my streaming services and got a Blu-ray player — here's 24 Blu-ray deals I'm shopping this Black Friday

I haven't yet managed to get hold of this one where I am in the U.K., but man do I want this LOTR trilogy box set so bad. This 4K box set includes both the extended and theatrical releases.

This box set does't include the fifth Indiana Jones movie, but, uh, I can live without that one, shall we say. This box includes the first four movies with both 4K UHD disks and digital copies.

This one's on my list as I slowly build up my collection of classics in UHD. It's the Matrix. In 4K. Need I say more?

An absolute must, and a classic that looks unbelievable in 4K: the full Final Cut edition of Ridley Scott's Blade Runner.

There aren't many movies that look as good as the OG Blade Runner. But Blade Runner 2049 is a worthy successor.

All three of the original Star Wars films in 4K, with non UDH Blu-ray disks also included. These are a staple in any movie fan's collection.

I mean, if someone killed my dog...

This one arrived through my door on Black Friday morning, as I picked it up a couple of days prior. The classic thriller than kicked off the legendary Dirty Harry franchise.

This one is on my shortlist for when I feel like a bit of nostalgia. I wholeheartedly expect that animatronic T-Rex to look more terrifying than ever in full 4K.

For those times when you fancy watching a lot of blood and swearing.

This is one of the best looking modern movies around, in my opinion, so it's sat on my shortlist of deals to pick up today or over the weekend.

I can't tell you how many times I've watched this movie, but I can tell you that I'd watch it a million times more.

I've owned this film on VHS, DVD, Digital and you can bet I'm going to own it on 4K Blu-ray, too. I can basically just recite the entire Gladiator script off by heart, so this one's actually a lower priority for me. But this is a super tempting deal.

John Carpenter's legendary indie action thriller starring Kurt Russell, who needs to break into New York to save the President. I've not seen this one yet, but it arrived this morning, so it's top of my watchlist for the weekend.

I could tell just from the cover of Escape from New York that it's my kinda movie. So I added the sequel to my basket, too.

Watch each of Craig's Bond appearances back to back with this five-disk set. $35 for five UHD Blu-rays is pretty good going!

Any Trekkies out there? The Kelvin Timeline trilogy is currently under $30, working out at less than $10 per movie.

Banished from heaven to... Wisconsin. Kevin Smith's fantasy comedy is, dare I say it, a bit of a modern classic, and is in my basket for some comic relief on Sunday afternoons.

If you're ditching the streaming networks, you can still stay (relatively) up to date with your TV. Get House of the Dragon Season 1 for under $26 with this deal.

And if you've binged Season 1, you'll doubtless want to binge Season 2 as soon as you can. House of the Dragon Season 2 is also on sale, although naturally a little more pricey than its forebear.

Speaking of forebears, the entire Game of Thrones collection is also on sale for $95. Not a huge reduction, but this is a whole lotta content.

Whether you want to see the beauty of the natural world in 4K UHD... or just fall asleep to Attenborough's voice, you can do either for under $18 with this Planet Earth III box set.

Planet Earth II is also on sale, albeit at a slightly higher price than the third season.
