CyberGhost's Black Friday VPN deals drops it to just over $2 per month – it's a huge 84% off
Get an extra four months free on two-year plans with CyberGhost's Black Friday deal
It's officially Black Friday, and even the best VPNs are getting in on the action, many of them dropping their prices to the lowest they've been this year. These prices are also likely the lowest they'll get this year, so you'll want to grab these Black Friday VPN deals before they're gone.
CyberGhost is a very solid VPN that focuses on streaming over everything else. In our testing, it was one of the few VPNs that unblocked every single streaming site we tested it with. The apps aren't quite as polished as some rivals, but take a look at the price...
With this deal, CyberGhost throws in an extra four months free with its two-year plan, dropping its price down to $2.03 a month, which is the cheapest I've seen it this year. More details below.
CyberGhost | 2 years + 4 months free
Was: $2.19 per month
Now: $2.03 per month at CyberGhost
CyberGhost is owned by the same company as ExpressVPN and Private Internet Access, and it's almost always the same price as the latter. It focuses on streaming, and is a trusted, reliable VPN.
What you get:
📺 A focus of reliable streaming
📱 Useful apps on all devices
💰 Generous 45-day money-back guarantee
❌ Apps can be clunky
At $2.03 per month ($48.72 up front), CyberGhost is one of the cheapest VPNs this Black Friday. What's more, you'll have 45 days to make up your mind, with one of the longest money-back guarantees of any VPN.
One of the main draws of CyberGhost is the fact that it offers some of the best VPN free trials across multiple platforms, as well as having a generous 45-day money-back guarantee. Many of these free trials are only a few days long (its macOS and Windows trials are just 24 hours), so if you really, really wanted to try before you buy, you'll have just enough time to test it out before Black Friday ends.
If you're too busy snapping up other deals, then don't worry. Here at Tom's Guide, we've done the testing for you, and here's a quick rundown.
Surfshark is probably CyberGhost's biggest rival, excelling at unblocking streaming sites for a very good price. What's more, this Black Friday the Surfshark One plan is down to $2.19 per month, which also includes very effective antivirus. If its just a VPN you're after, then Surfshark's Basic tier is even cheaper than CyberGhost at $1.99 per month.
CyberGhost offers decent speeds of over 700 Mbps, but these don't compare to those of Proton VPN, which, as one of the fastest VPNs on the market, offers speeds of over 1,500 Mbps. At $2.49 per month, it is more expensive than CyberGhost, although this is the cheapest you're likely to get Proton VPN this year.
When it comes to apps, CyberGhost's are fairly straightforward. However, if you're in need of one of the best iPhone VPNs, you may want to look elsewhere. CyberGhost's iOS apps are limited when compared to their Android counterparts. If iOS functionality is your top priority, consider ExpressVPN.
It offers a similarly streamlined interface but with none of the drawbacks. It's a little more expensive than CyberGhost, but thanks to its surprise Black Friday deal, it's by just $0.39 at $2.44 per month.
