There's something wonderful about the Marshall Monitor III. They're like an old rocker's leather jacket, instantly comfortable and stylish. They're also at their lowest price ever, thanks to the Black Friday sales.
Right now the Marshall Monitor III are just $279 at Amazon after a $100 discount. That's their lowest price ever — and while they're more expensive than the Sony WH-1000XM5, I'd still argue they're a better buy.
The Marshall Monitor III ooze attitude — and now they can be yours for $100 off. They're very comfortable, look cool and offer great sound and ANC. This $100 discount brings them down to their lowest price ever.
Look, everyone's got Sony headphones. Whether that's the expensive WH-1000XM6, the older XM5, or some of the brand's budget pairs, they're everywhere. The Marshall Monitor III are different. You don't see them as much, although I'm not sure why. They're excellent.
Their style is perhaps divisive, but I love it. They're modeled somewhere between a fashion accessory and a guitar amplifier, with accents from Marshall's stage equipment inlaid on leather-like headbands and earcups. They look and feel rugged, and I think they're some of the coolest-looking headphones around.
Why should you buy them instead of the Sony WH-1000XM5? Well, aside from their ruggedly handsome looks and comfortable fit, their excellent sound and tiny folding form factor, they last for over 100 hours on a charge. That's over three times as much as the XM5 — you'll rarely have to charge them.
I think they might be the steal of Black Friday — and I can't see this deal lasting long at all.
