The Logitech offers a variety of user-selectable photo options in 640X 480, and 1.3 to 4 Megapixels. Samples are below:

While the Creative device doesn't offer selectable Megapixel resolution, it does offer a panoramic (1920 x 720) photo option at the 640 x 480 Video setting.
