Three More MW2 Developers Leave Infinity Ward
Infinity Ward's losing a few good men.
After Infinity Ward co-founders Vince Zampella and Jason West were fired from the Activision-owned developer earlier this year, which resulted in a legal mess and a formation of a new studio, it seems others who worked on Modern Warfare 2 are jumping ship.
According to IGN, programmer Jon Shiring, senior animator Bruce Ferriz, and Modern Warfare 2 lead designer Mackey McCandlish have left Infinity Ward.
Including Todd Alderman and Francesco Gigliotti, who left Infinity Ward earlier this month, the Modern Warfare 2 developer has lost seven men since the beginning of March.

In my opinion, the campaign is elite, and multiplayer is pretty fun. Can someone please explain? is it a problem with the PC version.

Campaign was fun and multiplayer is alright when there aren't a bunch of hacking noobs in the server. It doesn't help that there aren't dedicated servers either... (pc version of course). It is a big slap in the face for those of us who have a pc and want to play on our own server or on a guaranteed hack free server.

I.W. developed games (COD 2, 4, & MW2) had always been great. I just hope that Activision knows what they are doing to the gaming world. Soon I.W. will be called Treyarch, and then the Call of Duty series will eventually meet its end.

God no. EA are an even worse company than Activision. Let them get funding themselves somehow (really shouldn't be hard looking at what they've done in the past) and release via Steam. Cut out the evil publishers altogether.
It seems there are a lot of un-ethical business out there that will have to learn the hard way! Take care of your employees and they will take care of you!

Ok, sort of related, but since I've never played Modern Warfare, is there anyone out there as old as me that when you see, "MW#" mentioned you think first "Mech Warrior"? Man I wish Mech Warrior 5 was going to happen.
Things must have been incredibly bad for these people to be voluntarily leaving. That's so much money they're throwing away if they can't find a job fast (although I bet 'Respawn' is willing to hire them in a heartbeat). Still, kudos to them for having the balls to stick it to Activision.
the least that Activision should have done was to show some gratitude, especially with Zampella and West, for their dedication and hard work and that they are valued employees. Instead, they shun them and hide under politics and treat them like a criminal and exiled them. People leaving at infinity just shows how low their moral is.
