As Easy As Pie
5. As Easy As Pie
The ergonomics are even better than on the Yepp. The logic of the menus and dial make browsing really easy. We just wish Creative had made better use of the space by including a bigger screen. This one is really small and only has two lines. However, it is still quite clear and the backlighting works well. Another advantage of its size is that the Slim can communicate with a computer in USB 2.0. It took us just 56 seconds to transfer 100 MB, which was three times faster than with the Yepp.

At The Gig
As is usual with Creative, the sound is beautifully restituted. All the pitches are there and the tonality is neutral. Though not excellent, the earphones are of good quality. The sound is full and pleasing, though it lacks a bit of presence and the trebles are not well defined. However, the overall sound quality is a bit better than on the Yepp. Likewise the FM tuner, which is more sensitive and separates stations better. In the 256 MB version, the MuVo Slim ships at $200.
